- Day 1
London to Amsterdam
Meet your Contiki crew in London and head out on the coach toward Amsterdam. You'll take the ferry across the English Channel from Dover, and on a clear day you'll catch views of the White Cliffs as you pass through the water. After crossing into France at Calais, the journey continues through to Amsterdam. Once you arrive, there's an included group dinner to kick things off, then you're free to wander around the canals and check out the illuminated 17th century gable houses. Bicycles are everywhere, so it's worth seeing how locals get around.

- Day 2
Amsterdam
This day is yours to explore Amsterdam at whatever pace suits you. The cobbled streets wind through the city, and canalside spots give you plenty of atmosphere. Consider stopping by the STRAAT museum or hitting up a cafe to try Dutch pancakes, frites, cheese, and stroopwafels. If you want something different, there's an optional trip to the fishing village of Volendam where you can grab dinner. Later in the evening, you can take an optional canal cruise that includes a bar onboard, so you'll have drinks while floating past the architecture.

- Day 3
Amsterdam to Rhine Valley
You're leaving Amsterdam's narrow canals behind and heading south to the Rhine Valley, where Germany's wine region spreads out along the river. The landscape shifts from city architecture to rolling countryside. You'll spend the day on a scenic river cruise, watching the Rhine flow past vineyards and small villages. It's a slower pace after Amsterdam, so you can relax and take in the views as the boat moves through wine country.

- Day 4
Rhine Valley to Munich
On the way to Munich, you'll stop in a charming Bavarian medieval town with cobblestone streets, market squares, and half-timbered houses that look like something from a storybook. After exploring there, you'll continue to Munich for a local guided city tour. One highlight is watching the mechanical figurines perform at the famous Glockenspiel. Your evening wraps up at a traditional Bavarian beer hall where you'll learn about 800 years of local history over drinks and food.

- Day 5
Munich to Venice
The drive takes you through the Bavarian Alps past fairytale castles and vineyards as you head toward Austria. You'll stop in Innsbruck for lunch, a relaxed student city where you can see the medieval old town, the historic Olympic Ski Jump, and the Royal Palace. After lunch, you're back on the road to Trento in the Adige Valley for dinner, then finally arriving in Venice. By evening you'll be settling into your accommodation, getting ready for a full day of exploring Venice tomorrow.

Venice
Start with a private motoscafo boat cruise through Venice's canals to reach the historical center of the city. From there, you have choices about how to experience the water. You can take a traditional gondola ride, learn how to actually ride one from expert instructors, or do a guided food tour that shows you local spots and specialties. No matter what you choose, you're getting around Venice by water, which is really the only way to see it properly.

Venice to Lucerne
You're heading toward Switzerland now, leaving Venice and passing by Lake Como as you cruise out of Italy into the Swiss Alps. By afternoon you'll reach Lucerne, a fairytale town known for its wooden bridges, cobbled streets, and location right on the lake. Check out the wooden Chapel Bridge and the lion monument. If you're up for it, there's an optional lake cruise where you can see the Swiss Alps reflected in the water. Before settling in for the night, grab some Swiss chocolate to bring back to your room.

- Day 8
Lucerne to Paris
After leaving the Swiss Alps, you're traveling west toward Paris through Burgundy, France's wine region. You'll arrive in Paris by evening for a night-time tour showcasing the city's most famous sites. The tour includes lamp-lit bridges, the sparkling Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, Champs-Élysées, and Notre-Dame Cathedral. To finish your first night, you'll climb to the 56th floor of Montparnasse Tower for panoramic views of Paris stretched out below you.

Since it's your final night with the group, there's an optional group dinner followed by a night at the Moulin Rouge if you want to celebrate properly. It's a chance to make the last evening count before everyone heads different directions.
