Itinerary
- Day 1
Baltra to Santa Cruz Highlands
You'll land at Baltra Airport this morning and get picked up by your Galapagos Angel staff member for a private transfer to the ship. Before you board, there's a first excursion up to the Santa Cruz Highlands. You're walking through Scalesia forests and exploring underground lava tunnels, then breaking for lunch at a spot with great views of the area.

Gardner Bay and Suarez Point
Gardner Bay is where you start this morning. The white-sand beaches have sea lions hanging around, and you can swim with the pups or just walk along the shore spotting mockingbirds. After lunch, you head to Suarez Point for the afternoon. Blue-footed boobies, albatrosses, and Nazca boobies are all there, plus there's a blowhole that photographers love coming back to.

Santa Fe Island and South Plaza Island
Santa Fe Island gets your morning attention. Two trails loop through the area, one takes you up to a cliff overlook and the other winds through tall prickly pear cactus forest. By afternoon, you're at South Plaza Island which is pretty small but loaded with steep cliffs covered in cacti. There's a big sea lion colony here and yellow and red land iguanas scattered around.

Black Turtle Cove and Departure
Your last morning takes you to Black Turtle Cove on the northern side of Santa Cruz. You'll take a dinghy there since it's only accessible by water. The cove is ringed with mangroves and it's where young marine life hangs out, so you might see black-tip and white-tip reef sharks, sea turtles, and rays. After that, you head to Baltra Airport for your flight back to the mainland.
