Catania
Start the day with a guided tour through Catania's historic center. You'll see the ancient Roman amphitheater at Piazza Stesicoro, walk along the baroque Via dei Crociferi, check out the Cathedral with its iconic elephant statue at Piazza Duomo, and visit Medieval Ursino Castle. There's a lot of ground to cover, so wear comfortable shoes.

Taormina - Catania
An expert guide takes you trekking on Mount Etna at around 2000m, making stops at panoramic points along the way. Later, you'll head to an organic farm to try local honey, wine, and oil. From there, you'll catch views of the Isola Bella Nature Reserve from above before heading to Taormina. In Taormina, you'll explore the Medieval castle, walk through the ancient Greek theater, and wander around the baroque squares.

Noto - Catania
Your day starts at Neapolis Archaeological Park where you'll see ancient Greek and Roman theaters. Then a guide takes you through Ortygia to visit Greek temples, Christian churches, and Baroque palaces, plus the Arab alleys and historic squares. After grabbing lunch, you'll travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Noto to see its Sicilian Baroque architecture and walk through the town.

You'll take the train from Catania to Palermo, which takes about 3.5 hours. Once there, settle into your accommodation for the next part of your trip.

Palermo
Spend time exploring Palermo's multicultural heritage through a street food experience. You'll learn how African, Roman, Greek, Spanish, Jewish, and Arabian influences shaped the city while watching local chefs prepare regional specialties. You'll sample stuffed sesame bread, pizza, arancina, cannoli, ice cream with brioche, and other local dishes.

You'll get to see the refined mosaics and learn about the influential Roman family who once lived there.
