Itinerary
- Day 1
Kilimanjaro to Mti Mkubwa
After landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be picked up and driven to Londorossi Gate where your climb begins. The first day takes you from the gate through forest terrain to Mti Mkubwa Camp, which sits at around 2600m. It's a relatively gentle start to get oriented and begin adjusting to the altitude.

Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2

Shira Camp 2 to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
From Shira Camp 2, you trek up to Lava Tower at 4640m, then turn around and descend to Barranco Camp at 3960m. This climb high and sleep low strategy helps your body acclimatize better. You'll gain significant elevation but rest at a lower point, which actually aids your adjustment.

Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Starting at Barranco Camp, you'll head to Karanga Camp and then push on to Barafu Camp where elevations keep climbing steadily. By the end of this day, you're perched at around 4640m, putting you in striking distance of the summit attempt that comes next.

Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
Around midnight, you'll begin the summit push from Barafu Camp, trekking through the night toward Uhuru Peak at 5895m, the highest point in Africa. After reaching the summit and taking in the views, you'll descend the same day to Mweka Camp to rest your tired legs.

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Moshi
You make your final descent from Mweka Camp down to Mweka Gate, officially finishing your Kilimanjaro climb. From there, you'll transfer to Moshi town where you can start recovering and reflecting on the trek.

- Day 8
Moshi
Spend this day resting in Moshi after your climb. It's time to relax, clean up, and let your body recover from the demanding trek. You can take it easy, grab good meals, and prepare for heading home.

Departure from Moshi
On your final day, you'll be transferred from Moshi back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey, carrying memories of successfully summiting Africa's highest peak.
