- JBJason· June 4th, 2025My daughter and I climbed Kilimanjaro on the lemosho route with Almighty Kilimanjaro. They were by far the best organized and prepared company both ahead of time and during the climb. They made their best effort to cater to everyone and help everyone make it to the top. Incredible experience. Definitely recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro! We did a safari with them too. Same thing. Made it super easy having them coordinated together. Great experiences both.Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- FNFelix· May 4th, 2025Absolutely fantastic from the very beginning of our arrival to the completion of our trip. There are a lot of Trekking Companies for climbing Kilimanjaro and it was obvious from the get-go that we picked the best one! The guides, cooks and porters were all fantastic. Kudos to the Cooks for their fantastic meals! I highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro as the only company to employ for your summit! We also did a 4 day Safari after the Trek which is a must trip since we travelled 1/2 way around the world to get there. The Safari exceeded our expectations! We saw the "Big Five"! We did not have enough time for Lake manyara but Serengeti, Ngotongoro Crater and Tarangire National Parks made up for it. We saw a Leopard in Tarangire National Park which is very rare for that park. Fantastic way to complete the Safari!Show moreTrip date: April 2025
- SNSarah· April 22nd, 2025WOW! From the moment I booked to the moment the driver dropped me off at the airport everything was simply amazing. The office staff, the drivers, staff who met me at the hotel were simply incredible. Now the guides and porters….DOUBLE INCREDIBLE!!!! You want for nothing whatsoever when you’re trekking. You’re greeted with hot tea and warm water to wash each morning. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner are fantastic. What the cooks can do up there is nothing short of a miracle. Every night you get a hot water bottle to help keep you warm. While I was a solo trekker I was matched up with six of the best people I’ve ever met and along with the guides and porters I felt like I was hiking with friends. If you’re not doing Kilimanjaro with Almighty kilimanjaro….you’re doing it wrong! When we walked out past the gate we had one last lunch. Then a wonderful gathering with the crew. We watched two other groups finish that didn’t receive anything like our guides and porters gave us. Singing, dancing, hugs, handshakes. Truly a memory I will cherish forever.Show moreTrip date: April 2025
- IIlham· March 18th, 2025How do I put into words an experience that was life-changing! First, I had a great group of friends to travel with (7 in our group), all with different levels of hiking experience. We started with five in our private group and added two later. Our agent, Rashidy was responsive and patient with our millions of questions about the many details of the trip. Don't be afraid to ask your questions at any point of the process. The logistics on the ground were well organized, from the airport pickup to the Salinero hotel in moshi, processes of check-in, equipment rental and weighing, and meeting with our guides. I liked the hotel staff's strict verification system of items stored in their safe while on the mountain (passport, cash, etc.). I can't say enough good things about Swalehe and Frank, our guides. They were knowledgeable, professional, kind and supportive. We felt informed and safe at every step knowing they had checked our equipment and our health to ensure we were well-prepared for the day's activities. I was very impressed with the entire porter team, from our chef, Shabani, to our potty porter, steve. The toilet amenity greatly contributed to the success and comfort of our trip - highly recommended!. We were fed tasty, large meals to keep up our energy and Isaac fed us drinks and snacks at his pop-up trailside cafe. I recommend you pack your own non-meltable snacks in case you needs something mid-trail or mid-safari. The porters were all very professional and helpful at every point. I never heard any angry arguments, swearing or complaining - amazing for a group of men with the many heavy responsibilities they had. It was difficult to say good-bye to our guides and porters - we definitely left a piece of our hearts with them on the mountain. We also did a five-day safari adventure with Almighty kilimanjaro to recover from our hike (reviewed separately). It was so nice to have their expertise to manage the seamless transition from the hiking to the safari. There were so many more details I could mention, along with some nice amenities that Almighty kilimanjaro included, but will leave those as your enjoyment and surprise when you travel with them!Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- VSVimal· March 15th, 2025This was a trip of a lifetime, made possible by Almighty Kilimanjaro. I was a solo traveller and had a crew of 7 people supporting me. The crew were exceptional, led by Muntari (head guide), Shabany (head chef) and Amany (my porter). I also hired my own toilet which was carried be Nickson). This was probably a great choice as the camps were busy so communial toilets less welcoming! The crew took really good care of me. Muntari took daily checks. The pace of walks were slow but constant. Muntari allowed plenty of time to rest, but despite this we were frequently the first to reach camp! Shabany cooked delicious meals, Amany made sure my rent was clean. On the summit night Shabany and Amany accompanied Muntari and me. This was really reassuring as they made sure I did not have any difficulties. We made it to the summit just as the sun was rising. This was a great experience, one that I will never forget. I have also made some friends for life!Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- TCTom· February 13th, 2025Joseph and the team were incredible start to finish! He knew exactly when to push me and when to rein me in so that we could get to the summit! It was an absolutely amazing experience and would recommend to anybody who is thinking about climbing Kilimanjaro!Show moreTrip date: February 2025

- AAlex· January 25th, 2025One of the best experiences of my life. I did the 8 day Lemosho route with Almighty Kilimanjaro. They were well organised from the start and I felt very safe in their hands throughout the trip. Our lead guide Robert, and his team, made the trip for us. I highly recommended asking for Robert. His knowledge of the mountain is unmatched and it meant that we benefitted from incredible views / moments that others did not due to his understanding of the weather patterns. I went solo (I’m 35) and joined two others (45) to make a group of 3. That was perfect for what I wanted, it had a more relaxed vibe and we were able to set a great pace throughout the trip. It also meant that we felt strong for the summit day and had acclimatised well. Led by Robert and Liberat, we were able to time the summit push to perfection, getting to the top for sunrise. It was an experience like none other 🌅 Other points to note, the food was great considering, you can borrow anything you need from the team and everyone from the porters to the cook made an effort to make us feel welcome. I could not recommend this team more!! Pole Pole! P.S. ask Robert about how he took Cheryl Cole and Garry Barlow and the comic relief team up KiliShow moreTrip date: January 2025
- SASchmidit· December 2nd, 2024Outstanding experience with an outstanding team. If you want to hike Kilimanjaro you should go with Almighty Kilimajaro. The service from initial inquiry through to the end of our trip was faultless. They have all the information you need and a deep understanding of what a great experience looks like when doing such a big trip like this one. The team who took us up the mountain were amazing - the food was great, the tents and our gear were well managed and always waiting for us on arrival at the next camp. Highly professional. A group of 20 of us all summited, and when two of our friends felt ill on the way down they looked after them with a huge amount of care and attention until the chopper came to take them down. From the crew on the ground (thank-you Rashid and Yona!) to the leader on the hike we could not have asked for more. John, Richard, Munio,Sado, Gaby, Muntari, Munir, Temu and the rest of the team - thank-you - I miss you my friends!Show moreTrip date: November 2024
- nick· November 22nd, 2024I am a fairly experienced trekker, having visited SE Asia/Asia/South America. This organisation was the best by far! Booked the Almighty Kilimanjaro lemosho tour because I wanted the slow ascent to give best success rate and liked the attention to detail in their literature. Almightys driver, Abdul, met me at the airport really nice guy. Took me to the hotel where I met another of their reps and Joseph the guide. I expected to join a crowd, however they had rescheduled, very impressed that almighty didn’t outsource the trek, and ran it just for me. Joseph’s experience really showed during the trek. He always had the time to point out interesting facts and nature, and trekking at a sensible poley-poley pace when ascending. The whole crowd from Almighty were great fun, and really enjoyed the tough job they have. All getting on well and laughing and joking amongst themselves. How Abu, the chef did it I don’t know but the food was amazing. Summit night, we were first up the mountain, Joseph knowing the route so well he could navigate by moonlight, despite everything covered in snow. I’d never had made it had Joe not been so encouraging! And what a sunrise we had. First footprints in the snow that morning. At my request we trekked straight back to the gate. A long day, 13 1/2 hours from setting off to summit, back to BC, then down to the gate. A lovely treat to be back in the hotel that night, that Almighty also paid for me. The following day Abdul took to me the local souvenir shop and coffee, again complimentary. Joseph has been a guide since 2012, and a porter prior. His (post pandemic) success rate is 100%. Couldn’t recommend this company higher.Show moreTrip date: November 2024
