Start your journey in Arusha and head out to Tarangire National Park for your first safari. The park sits along the Tarangire River where you'll spot large elephant herds and plenty of other wildlife during your game drives. It's a good introduction to what Tanzania has to offer.

Lake Manyara National Park
Spend the entire day at Lake Manyara National Park doing game drives through different terrain. You might see tree-climbing lions, flamingos by the water, and lots of birds throughout the day. The landscape changes from acacia forests down to the lake shore, so there's plenty to see.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti
After breakfast, travel from Lake Manyara to the Serengeti National Park. Once you arrive, you'll have time to settle in and start taking in the scale of this wildlife destination. The Serengeti is known for massive animal migrations and really exceptional game viewing, so keep your camera ready.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro and Olduvai
Head out from the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at Olduvai Gorge along the way. This site matters quite a bit to paleontologists and archaeologists, so it's worth taking time to look around. Then continue on to your accommodation near the crater.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Drive down into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive through this natural basin where wildlife concentrates in high numbers. After exploring the crater floor, start the drive back to Arusha, wrapping up your safari experience. It's a nice way to end the trip and reflect on what you've seen.
