Colombo
Your private driver meets you at Colombo International Airport and takes you to your hotel in downtown Colombo. The afternoon and evening are free, so you can rest after your flight and get settled into your room.

Colombo
After breakfast, head to Beira Lake to see the waterside Gangarama Sima Malaka temple. From there, you'll visit Gangaramaya Temple, one of Sri Lanka's most important Buddhist temples. Next, walk through Colombo National Museum, the country's oldest museum. In the afternoon, stroll through Pettah Market in the old downtown area and check out the nearby Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque. End your day at Galle Face Green, Colombo's largest open park, before returning to your hotel.

Colombo to Kandy
After breakfast, your driver takes you to Kandy. Along the way, stop at Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage to watch the elephants being guided to bathe in the river between 10 am and 12 pm. When you reach Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Later, watch a traditional Cultural Dance Show, then head to your hotel for the evening.

Kandy to Sigiriya
This morning, walk through the Royal Botanic Gardens in Peradeniya, then see the Sri Muthumariamman Temple with its 108-meter-high Gopura tower. After lunch, drive about an hour to Dambulla Cave Temple where you'll explore 5 caves filled with 2,000-year-old murals and statues, starting with the Golden Temple at the base. By evening, you'll reach your hotel in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa
Start with a visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka's oldest architectural sites. The climb to the top is steep but the views make it worthwhile. After that, explore the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka's second capital. You'll tour sites by vehicle to save time and energy, including the impressive royal palace complex built by King Parakramabahu. Return to your hotel in Sigiriya for the night.

Drive about an hour to Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka's first capital, and visit the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa. Then see the Sri Maha Bodhi tree, which is over 2,600 years old and holds great spiritual significance. After exploring these sites, you'll drive approximately 4 hours to reach your hotel in Negombo.
