Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi to Jaipur
You'll depart Delhi between 6-8 am for a 4-5 hour drive to Jaipur. After checking into your hotel, spend the rest of your day walking through the city's main attractions. Start with the Albert Hall Museum to get a sense of Rajasthani history and art. From there, head to Royal Gaitor Tumbas, the cenotaphs of the royal family. Next, make your way to Galta Ji Temple, also called the Monkey Temple because of the troops of monkeys living there. Finish your evening at Nahargarh Fort positioned on a hilltop overlooking the city, where you can catch the sunset and see Jaipur's lights come on as darkness falls.

Jaipur
This morning, head out to see Jaipur's architectural highlights. Start early at Amber Fort, an 11th-century fortress with intricate details and views across the landscape. After that, visit Panna Meena Stepwell, an underground water tank with geometric design. Next comes Jagat Siromani Ji temple, then Jal Mahal, the palace sitting in the middle of a lake. Stop by City Palace Museum to see royal collections. Walk through Hawa Mahal, the pink five-story structure famous for its small windows. Check out Jantar Mantar observatory with its astronomical instruments. Later, ride through old Jaipur's crowded markets in a tuk-tuk, stop at the famous Lassiwala for a lassi drink, and learn hand block printing techniques from a master craftsperson. Then head back to Delhi by evening.
