- Day 1
Arrival at Lake Manyara
You'll arrive in Tanzania and connect with your personal driver-guide for the scenic drive through green countryside into Lake Manyara National Park. Once settled at your lodge, the afternoon brings a game drive where you can look for tree-climbing lions draped across acacia branches, elephants moving through the landscape, and pink flamingos gathered at the lake's edge.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti
After breakfast, you're heading across the Ngorongoro Highlands toward the Serengeti. The drive itself offers nice views as you climb higher, and by afternoon you'll be out on the savannah for a game drive. Lions, giraffes, and large wildebeest herds move across the grassland, so there's plenty to see once you get out there.

Serengeti Full Day Safari
This is a full day in Serengeti National Park with both sunrise and sunset game drives when the predators are hunting. You'll search for elephants, cheetahs, and African lions throughout the day. If you want to add it on, there's an early morning hot air balloon ride available for an extra fee that gives you a completely different view of the landscape.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
The morning starts with a game drive heading toward Ngorongoro, and you'll stop at Olduvai Gorge, which has real historical significance as the 'Cradle of Mankind.' From there it's on to the crater rim where you'll check in at your lodge. The views from up here are something special, and you'll have time to settle in before dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater Safari
You're descending into the Ngorongoro Crater itself for a full-day safari in this enclosed ecosystem where wildlife congregates in high numbers. Elephants, lions, rhinos, and occasional leopards are all here. You'll have a picnic lunch down on the crater floor, eating surrounded by the landscape and the animals that call this place home.

Ngorongoro to Arusha Departure
After breakfast, you'll head back toward Arusha on the scenic drive out. There's an optional lunch available before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, so you can either grab something on the way or eat at the airport depending on your flight time.
