Nuremberg
Boarding starts at 4 PM in Nuremberg. Once you're settled in your cabin, you'll head to the cocktail reception where you can meet fellow travelers before sitting down for the welcome dinner. The ship sets sail in the evening, so you'll feel the gentle movement as you settle in for your first night aboard.

Nuremberg to Bamberg to Würzburg
The ship docks early in Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 2,000 historic buildings scattered throughout. A guided walking tour is available if you want to learn about the architecture and history, or you can explore on your own before heading back for lunch. By afternoon the ship leaves for Würzburg.

Würzburg and Rothenburg ob der Tauber
A guided city tour in Würzburg takes you through the morning, including the impressive Baroque Prince-Bishop's Residence. After that, you'll have a chance to taste some Franconian wine. In the afternoon, you'll travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber along the famous Romantic Road, a medieval town that feels like stepping back in time.

Wertheim and Miltenberg
This day involves traveling to two charming Main valley towns known for their medieval character and half-timbered houses. An excursion from Wertheim includes a town tour and a visit to Miltenberg, where your ship meets you. That evening you'll have dinner on board before the ship departs.

Miltenberg to Frankfurt to Mainz
Arriving early in Frankfurt gives you time to walk around this modern city and try the local dialect and food specialties. Later you'll reach Mainz, where a guided tour covers thousands of years of history. The festive Christmas market here is part of the tour, and there's time to browse the stalls before returning to the ship.

Mainz to Mannheim to Speyer
An early start in Mannheim leads to nearby Heidelberg where you'll visit the castle and check out the baroque Christmas market. After lunch, you head to Speyer, one of Germany's oldest cities. A city tour and another Christmas market visit round out the afternoon, followed by a festive gala dinner back on board.
