Itinerary
- Day 1
Queen Alia International Airport to Madaba
You'll land at Queen Alia International Airport where your team meets you for the drive to Madaba. If your flight gets in early, there's time to walk through the Church of St. George and see the remarkable mosaic floor before checking into your hotel for the evening.

Madaba to Wadi Musa (Petra)
Head south early to Wadi Musa and start exploring Petra using a back-route that takes you through Little Petra first. From there you'll hike through mountain trails past carved dwellings and tombs, seeing a Roman amphitheatre along the way. The route to the Monastery runs about 2 to 3 hours, and then you continue to the main site where the famous Treasury is your final stop for the day.

Wadi Rum (Um Ishrin Siq)
Your desert trek begins at the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre with a hike through Um Ishrin Siq, a canyon with towering sandstone cliffs. You'll see ancient Nabataean and Thamudic inscriptions including the famous Anfashieh petroglyphs. The moderately challenging hike shows off the desert's red, gold, and ochre colours. By evening you'll camp near Um Ishrin under a clear sky.

Wadi Rum (Um Fruth Rock Bridge)
The trek continues deeper into Wadi Rum, starting with a visit to Lawrence's House, an ancient Nabataean structure connected to T.E. Lawrence and the Arab Revolt. Later you'll hike towards Um Fruth Rock Bridge and do some light scrambling to reach the summit for panoramic desert views. You'll camp near Um Fruth tonight by the campfire.

Um Muqur)
This is the most demanding day, so you'll start with a substantial breakfast. You're heading towards Jebel Umm ad-Dami, Jordan's highest peak at 1,854 meters. The moderately challenging ascent involves scrambling over rocky sections, and from the summit you'll see across the Wadi Rum desert with potential glimpses of Saudi Arabia on clear days. After descending you'll camp at Um Muqur.

Wadi Rum (Jebel Burdah Rock Bridge)
Today's a more relaxed pace as you trek from Jebel Umm ad-Dami towards Jebel Burdah and its rock bridge. The landscape shows vibrant reddish-orange sands and imposing cliffs typical of Wadi Rum. Reaching Burdah Rock Bridge requires some scrambling but rewards you with wide panoramic views of the desert plains. You'll camp near the bridge for the evening.

Wadi Rum (Burrah Canyon)
After breakfast you'll trek towards Burrah Canyon, a narrow gorge framed by rock formations that contrasts with the open desert. This relatively gentle hike lets you walk at a contemplative pace and take in the canyon's atmosphere, where light and shadow play across the unique topography. You'll camp near the canyon entrance under the starlit sky.

Wadi Rum to Amman
Your final Wadi Rum day starts with a gentle trek through Siq Um Tawaqi canyon with towering rock walls. You'll visit Siq Lawrence, a historically significant site, and the trail gradually descends through varying terrain offering last looks at the desert's character. After reaching the Visitor Centre and saying goodbye to your Bedouin guides, you'll transfer to Amman for your final evening.

Amman
