Tokyo
Your private guide meets you for a day exploring Tokyo using the public transportation system. First you'll head to Ueno Zoo, which has over 3,000 animals including the popular pandas. After lunch, you make your way to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Tokyo where you can check out the 3 million LEGO bricks, catch the 4D theater, and browse the shop with over 400 products.

Tokyo Disneyland
You'll spend the full day at Tokyo Disneyland, which was the first Disney park to open outside the United States back in 1983. Tokyo to Hakone to Kyoto
This morning you board the Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to Hakone (ticket's included). Once you arrive at Hakone station, you'll make your own way to the hotel. Your private guide then takes you by car to see the Hakone Kowakien Yunessun spa resort with 23 hot spring baths, including some unique ones like wine, coffee, and sake. Later you visit The Hakone Open-Air Museum to see sculptures and rotating art exhibitions.

Kyoto

Consider visiting Kiyomizu-dera Temple for the panoramic city views, walking through Yasaka Shrine, or browsing the shops and restaurants along Hanamikoji Dori. Kyoto was Japan's capital for over 1,000 years and the history shows in every corner.

Kyoto
Your private guide leads you through Kyoto using public transportation for the day. You'll ride the scenic Sagano Romantic Train as it winds through Hozukyo Valley. After that, you walk through the Sagano Bamboo Forest and listen to the wind moving through the tall stalks. Later you head to the Kyoto International Manga Museum to see the 300,000 manga materials on display, and you'll also get to try on a traditional Japanese kimono.

Uji - Nara
You'll visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, the main headquarters for roughly 30,000 Inari shrines spread across Japan. The shrine has been around since the 8th century. From there, you head to Uji, known for producing high-quality green tea for centuries. By late afternoon you arrive in Nara Park where over 1,200 deer roam freely, and you can see the spectacular Tōdai-ji Temple, which looks particularly beautiful in autumn with the warm-toned leaves.

- Day 8
Osaka
You'll explore Osaka with your private guide using the local metro or bus system. Start at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, which shows Pacific Rim marine life across over a dozen tanks with a massive whale shark in the 9-meter-deep central tank. Afterward you ride the Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel, one of the world's largest at 112.5 meters high, giving you views of Mount Ikoma and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. Later take a 20-minute Tombori River Cruise under 9 bridges through Dotonburi, a lively entertainment district. You'll finish with local street food like takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and Kobe beef.
