You'll arrive in Vancouver and connect with your Tour Director at the airport. After getting settled at your hotel in the city center, you'll head to a Welcome Reception this evening to meet the other travelers on your trip.

A guided tour takes you through Vancouver's neighborhoods, including the Waterfront and historic Gastown. Vancouver to Kamloops
You'll board the Rocky Mountaineer train with large windows that let you see everything as you travel. The route takes you through Fraser Valley, past the Coast Mountains and Fraser Canyon. You'll arrive in Kamloops by evening for an overnight stay.

Kamloops to Jasper
The train continues with views of the North Thompson River as you move through the Monashee Mountains. You'll see Pyramid Falls, pass Alberta Icefields, and spot Mount Robson before heading into Jasper National Park. After arriving, you have free time to walk around and try restaurants in the area.

Jasper to Banff
In Jasper, you'll walk through Maligne Canyon's deep rocky ravines, then drive the scenic Icefields Parkway. A ride on an Ice Explorer takes you onto the Athabasca Glacier, and from there you continue to Banff for a two-night stay.
