    You'll arrive in Calgary and head to your hotel in Banff. After you get settled, meet the other travelers and your tour director over welcome dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Banff

    You have the day to yourself in Banff with several options. Take a guided tour of hidden lakes and gems, ride the gondola up Sulphur Mountain for views, go on a helicopter flight over the Rockies, float down Bow River, or relax at the spa at Fairmont Banff Springs. Spend your afternoon however you like.

    Banff to Lake Louise

    Start with a guided tour of Banff, then meet with a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to hear stories about Canada's iconic force. You'll head to Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks (if weather allows), then continue to Lake Louise. Pick where you want to eat dinner from the hotel's restaurant options.

    Drive along the Icefields Parkway and stop at Columbia Icefield for an Ice Explorer ride onto Athabasca Glacier. Keep going to Jasper, passing Athabasca Falls on the way. After you arrive, have dinner at the lodge and catch the First Nations Warrior Women Performance with Indigenous songs, drumming, and Cree stories.

    Overall the tour was well.planned and places we visited were beautiful. The accommodation was first class but the quality of the food was poor given the reputation of Fairmont Hotels being exclusive. It was the only disappointing aspect.
