- Day 1
Arrival in Seoul
You'll touch down in Korea and get transferred to your hotel. There's free time to get settled, and then in the afternoon you'll receive a briefing about what's coming up on your tour.

- Day 2
Seoul to Busan
Seoul keeps you busy with roughly five hours of touring. You'll see Changdeokgung Palace (a UNESCO site), walk through the traditional Bukchon Hanok Village, and check out the War Memorial. Gangnam District comes next for shopping and entertainment, plus a look at Lotte World Tower. After grabbing lunch, it's time to board the high-speed train heading to Busan where you'll check into your hotel.

- Day 3
Busan
Early departure takes you to Haedong Yonggung Temple right by the water (built in the 14th century), then the UN Memorial Cemetery and the country's biggest fish market. You'll stroll through Yongdusan Park and its 120-meter pagoda, take the marine cable car at Songdo Beach, and wander around Gamcheon Culture Village before heading back to Busan for the night.

Busan to Daegu via Gyeongju
Head out to see two major temple sites: Seokguram Buddhist Grotto and Bulguksa Temple, both dating to the 8th century. Then it's on to Gyeongju, which was Korea's capital for longer than any other city. You'll photograph Woljeonggyo Bridge (wooden structure), walk through Tumuli Park with its 1,500-year-old royal burial mounds, and visit Cheomsongdae Astronomical Observatory. The day ends in Daegu with stops at historic Dongsan Cheongna Hill and Dongseong-ro street.

- Day 5
Daegu to Seoul via Andong
Daegu starts your morning with the Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine and the Herbal Medicine Market. You'll then travel north to Andong to see Hahoe Village (UNESCO-listed) and the Hahoe Mask Museum, followed by a tour of Byeongsan Seowon, a 16th-century Confucian academy. That evening you're heading back to Seoul, stopping by Banpo Bridge to catch its fountain display if the weather cooperates.

- Day 6
Seoul to Tokyo
After breakfast you'll head to the airport and fly to Tokyo. Once you've cleared border procedures, someone will meet you and take you by shared shuttle to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to rest and get a feel for the city.

- Day 7
Tokyo
A five-hour guided city tour covers a lot of ground. You'll see Zojoji Temple with its Tokyo Tower backdrop and rows of Jizo statues, cross the incredibly busy Shibuya Crossing, visit Meiji Shrine, and walk down Omotesando Avenue. The Imperial Palace gardens and Nijubashi Bridge come next, then a pass through Electric Town Akihabara and a look at the Kokugikan sumo arena. Asakusa brings you to Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Street. After lunch, the metro takes you to Shinjuku for dinner and an evening stroll through the nightlife.

- Day 8
Tokyo to Kyoto
Early morning bullet train gets you to Kyoto in just over two hours (nearly 500 km). You'll spend the day exploring Japan's former imperial capital with stops at Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and Kinkakuji Temple with its beautiful gardens. From there, you'll stroll through Gion (the traditional geisha district) and have free time for your own exploration.

- Day 9
Kyoto to Osaka via Nara
Heading to Nara, you'll visit Todaiji Temple, built in 752 and home to a giant Buddha statue. The park around the temple has friendly deer walking around that you can interact with. Next is Horyu-ji Buddhist Temple, a UNESCO site with an ancient wooden pagoda and one of the oldest wooden structures in the world. After that you'll travel to Osaka, then explore the lively Dotonbori district in the evening.
