- Day 1
Berlin
After arriving in Berlin, you'll be transferred to your hotel where you can settle in and relax. Check the information boards at reception for details about when your tour officially begins tomorrow morning.

- Day 2
Berlin
A guided tour takes you through Berlin's major sites, starting with the historic center and Museum Island before heading to the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate. You'll also walk through popular shopping streets, see several parks, and visit both the Holocaust Memorial and Berlin Wall Memorial Museum. If you're interested, there's an optional trip to Potsdam to see the palaces there.

- Day 3
Bamberg - Nuremberg
You'll travel to Dresden first to see its palace along the River Elbe, then continue into Bavaria. The drive takes you through Bamberg where you can walk around Little Venice before heading to Nuremberg. During your time there, you'll learn about the historical site related to WWII and get a sense of Bavaria's second-largest city.

- Day 4
Munich
Start early with a boat cruise down the Danube valley through the Danube Gorge from Kelheim, stopping at Kloster Weltenburg, an 11th-century Benedictine monastery. After that, you'll visit the Dachau concentration camp museum. By afternoon you're heading to Munich where you can check out BMW Welt, the Olympiastadion park, and then spend free time exploring Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt, Englischer Garten, or local beer houses.

- Day 5
Rothenburg - Frankfurt
Travel through Alpine scenery to reach Füssen and Neuschwanstein Castle. You'll go by bus to Mary's Bridge for views into the gorge, then walk back down or hire a horse carriage if you prefer. Later you'll drive the Romantic Road to Rothenburg, a walled medieval town where you can visit the Christmas Museum before continuing to Frankfurt.

- Day 6
Moselle Valley - Cologne - Dortmund
This day focuses on the Rhine and Moselle Valleys with their charming villages scattered along historic waterways. You'll take a short Rhine cruise between Rüdesheim and Sankt Goar, then head to the Moselle Valley where lunch is in Cochem overlooking a thousand-year-old castle. After that, drive to Cologne to see its Gothic cathedral and explore the riverside area before heading to your hotel in Dortmund.

Follow the Fairy Tale Route inspired by Brothers Grimm stories, starting in Trendelburg with its medieval castle and the Rapunzel Tower. You'll pass through forests that inspired Hansel and Gretel before stopping in Höxter for lunch and a visit to Corvey Abbey, a 9th-century monastery. Later you'll see Cinderella's Castle ruins in Polle, then head to Hamelin (famous for the Pied Piper legend) and finish in Hanover with time to walk the old town.

- Day 8
Goslar - Göttingen - Bad Sooden - Eisenach
After breakfast, visit Rammelsberg Mines near Goslar, a UNESCO site with an included museum tour showing the area's historic silver mining. Explore Goslar's medieval old town with its half-timbered buildings and cobblestone streets. You'll continue to Göttingen where the Brothers Grimm lived, grab lunch, and explore that old town. Drive through Thuringia later, stopping in Bad Sooden before arriving in Eisenach. Dinner is included.

- Day 9
Gotha - Erfurt - Leipzig
Begin at Wartburg Castle, a UNESCO site where Martin Luther translated the New Testament, with great views overlooking Eisenach. You'll have free time to visit the Bach House or the Automobile Museum with vintage East German cars. From there, head to Gotha to see its Baroque palace and historic center, then continue to Erfurt (Thuringia's capital) with its cathedral and the famous bridge that's been continuously inhabited for over 500 years. You'll arrive in Leipzig by late afternoon.

- Day 10
Dresden - Meissen - Moritzburg - Berlin
Leaving Leipzig, you'll visit the Monument to the Battle of the Nations, a 91-meter memorial from 1913. Then head to Dresden to see its Baroque and Renaissance architecture, palaces, and the Elbe River. Stop in Meissen known for porcelain production since the 18th century, walk the old town, and visit Moritzburg to see Cinderella's Castle set on an island with beautiful gardens. You'll return to Berlin by around 7:00 p.m.
