- Day 1
Cappadocia
Your guide picks you up from your hotel this morning for a full day exploring Cappadocia's geological and historical highlights. First stop is Esentepe, where you'll see the distinctive rock formations that make this region so unusual. From there, you'll get an outside view of Uchisar Castle, perched dramatically on top of a rock cone. By mid-morning, you're heading into the Göreme Open Air Museum to walk through ancient cave churches carved directly into the stone, many featuring faded frescoes and intricate details. Lunch happens somewhere in the middle of your day (it's included with the tour). Afterward, you'll check out Ortahisar Castle and spend time at Paşabağ Fairy Chimneys, where those tall mushroom-shaped rock pillars are scattered across the landscape. The final stop takes you through Devrent Valley, known for its otherworldly rock formations and unique geological patterns. Your guide brings you back to your hotel by evening.
