Itinerary
- Day 1
Bilbao
You'll arrive in Bilbao and head to your hotel to settle in. The afternoon and evening are open for you to explore on your own. The Guggenheim Museum is right there if you want to check it out, or you could walk through Casco Viejo's narrow streets and see the old town. There's also a nice path along the Nerviòn River if you prefer something more low-key.

- Day 2
Bilbao
After breakfast, you'll head out to explore the Bilbao estuary and its industrial past. You'll see the Bizkaia Bridge, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and drive past Butrón Castle. Then it's on to the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve before stopping in Bermeo fishing village for pintxo tasting. From there, you go to Gernika to visit Casa de Juntas and the famous Tree of Gernika. Back in Bilbao by around 2:30 PM for lunch, followed by a guided walk through the city centre and old town.

Bilbao to Biarritz to San Sebastián to Bilbao
A guided tour takes you to Biarritz on the French coast, where you'll see the main landmarks and take in the coastal views. Next you'll walk through the streets of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and have a local sweet tasting there. Then it's off to San Sebastián for a guided walking tour with some free time to wander around on your own. Before heading back to Bilbao, you'll go up Mount Igueldo for views over the bay.

- Day 4
Bilbao to Vitoria to Bilbao
You'll travel into the Rioja wine region to see vineyards and small villages. The day starts in Laguardia with a walking tour of the historic centre, then you visit a traditional winery for a tour and wine tasting. After free time to look around Laguardia, you continue to Vitoria, the Basque Country's capital, for a panoramic tour and walking tour through the centre and old district. There's also a tasting of local Basque chocolate before returning to Bilbao.
