Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tokyo
You'll arrive in Tokyo and your driver will be waiting at the airport with a sign. The private car ride to your hotel gives you time to decompress after your flight and start getting a feel for the city before checking in.
- Day 2
Mt. Fuji Region Tour
Head out to the Mt. Fuji area where you'll see West Lake Village and its traditional thick-thatched roof cottages. Stop by Oshino Hakkai to check out the crystal-clear spring waters, then walk through the 1150-year-old Narusawa Hyoketsu Ice Cave. End the day at Arakurayama Sengen Park for views of Mount Fuji and the five-storied pagoda.

Matsumoto and Suwa
Start with Matsumoto Castle, known for its distinctive black wainscoting and unique twin structures. From there, head to Suwa Lake, the largest lake in Nagano Prefecture, and spend time at Suwa Taisha, one of Japan's oldest and most important shrines.

Shirakawa-go and Takayama

Kanazawa
Spend your day in Kanazawa, a town with significant cultural achievements from the Edo Period. Walk through Kanazawa Castle and the beautiful Kenrokuen garden, then check out the traditional Higashi Chaya District with its geisha houses. Later, wander around the Nagamachi Samurai district to see the charming classical architecture.

Kanazawa to Kyoto via Bullet Train
Take the bullet train from Kanazawa to Tsuruga, then switch trains for Kyoto. The route gives you scenic views of Japan while connecting two historic cultural centers. Once you arrive in Kyoto, you'll have free time to explore on your own pace.

Kyoto and Nara
Visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, an 8th century shrine that serves as headquarters for around 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan. Head next to Uji, which is famous for high-quality green tea cultivation, and then continue to Nara Park to see over 1,200 roaming deer and the prized Todai-ji Temple.
