Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Delhi
A representative meets you at the airport with a traditional Indian welcome and drives you by private car to your hotel. Delhi sprawls across the Yamuna River as India's capital, mixing historic character with contemporary energy. You'll find some of the country's best museums here, and the entire city essentially sits on top of seven ancient cities from different periods.

Delhi City Tour
This morning you'll take a guided tour covering both Old and New Delhi. You'll see the Red Fort and Jama Masjid, both built by Emperor Shah Jahan, then pay respects at Rajghat where Mahatma Gandhi is remembered. A rickshaw ride through Chandani Chowk's silver market follows, then you'll head to New Delhi to check out Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate, and Laxmi Narayan Temple. There's time built in for photos and wandering around on your own.

Delhi to Jaipur
After breakfast you'll travel by car to Jaipur, the 'Pink City' where every building gets painted pink. Maharaja Jai Singh II founded it in 1727 to receive Prince Albert, and the whole place is surrounded by hills with forts and palaces scattered around. It's the only city divided into nine rectangular sectors and followed ancient Hindu design principles when built.

Jaipur Sightseeing
Starting after breakfast, you'll explore Jaipur with Amber Fort just outside town, and you can ride an elephant up to the hilltop if you want. The afternoon brings City Palace, which mixes Rajasthani and Mughal styles, then the Central Museum and Jantar Mantar (one of five observatories Jai Singh built). You'll also see Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. Later in the day you're free to browse local markets for textiles, gems, carpets, and handicrafts.

Jaipur to Ranthambore
After breakfast you'll drive to Ranthambore, a tiger reserve wedged between the Vindhya and Aravali hills near the Thar Desert's edge. The deciduous forest here hosts diverse wildlife. This land used to be the Maharaja of Jaipur's private hunting grounds before becoming a game sanctuary in 1955, then a national park in 1980. Once you check into your hotel, you'll head out on an afternoon jeep safari.

Ranthambore Safari and Journey to Agra
Early morning takes you deep into the jungle with a naturalist in an open jeep for about three hours of tiger tracking and looking for other wildlife. Back at the resort, you'll have breakfast and downtime to relax by the pool or explore the surroundings. Later you'll check out and drive to Agra, where the Taj Mahal sits. The city's also known for inlay work, carpets, gold embroidery, and leather shoes.

Agra Sightseeing
After breakfast you'll see the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders and considered one of the world's most beautiful buildings. It blends many architectural styles together. Then you'll tour Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 with red sandstone walls, multiple palaces, and mosques including the Pearl Mosque, Jahangir Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal. From Musamman Burj, Emperor Shah Jahan could view the Taj Mahal from his cell. There's an optional visit to see a mini Taj Mahal replica at the Oswal Emporium.

Agra to Delhi Departure
You'll depart early in the morning by car back toward Delhi. When you arrive, you'll transfer straight to the airport to catch your connecting flight for wherever you're heading next.
