Prague
You'll arrive in Prague and connect with your Travel Director and the rest of the group. The city's Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture will be everywhere you look as you settle in. After getting oriented, there's a welcome dinner planned for the evening so you can meet everyone and start the trip off right.

- Day 2
Prague
A Local Specialist guide will take you through Prague's historic center. You'll see St. Vitus Cathedral inside Prague Castle, check out the famous Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square and watch the hourly Walk of the Apostles, then walk across Charles Bridge with its Baroque statues lining both sides. The afternoon is yours to wander around the city on your own.

Prague to Vienna
You'll head south from Prague through the Moravian countryside toward Vienna. The route passes through Bratislava's charming Old Town before you arrive for a two-night stay. Vienna's yours to explore at your own pace, or there's an optional dinner with musical entertainment available if you want to experience the city's musical traditions.

- Day 4
Vienna
A guided tour with a Local Specialist covers Vienna's major imperial sights like the Hofburg Palace, Parliament Building, the Opera House, and St. Stephen's Cathedral with its distinctive geometric tile roof. After lunch, you'll have free time to explore the famous coffee houses and try traditional Sachertorte.

Vienna to Budapest
You'll travel along the scenic Danube Bend through the Carpathian Basin, stopping in Esztergom to see Castle Hill, the impressive domed Cathedral, and St. Thomas Hill. Later, you'll arrive in Budapest for a two-night stay. Tonight you'll have a Be My Guest experience with the Schieszl family, hearing about their 19th-century winery over a hearty Hungarian dinner.

Budapest
A Local Specialist leads a walking tour of Budapest's key sights, including Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church. Then you'll drive to Pest to visit the Great Synagogue, Europe's largest, and see Heroes' Square with its seven Magyar chieftains monument. You'll have leisure time to explore the Jewish Quarter or shop for Hungarian embroidery and porcelain. Your journey ends with a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant, toasting the trip.
