Itinerary
- Day 1
Launceston to Stanley
Start the day at 8 am in Launceston with a welcome meeting, then head to Devonport to visit the Tiagarra Museum on Mersey Bluff. You'll watch a Welcome to Country ceremony and check out the Tasmanian Aboriginal Cultural Centre. After that, you'll travel along the Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail with stops to try local ciders, chocolates and truffles if you like. Grab lunch in Penguin, then continue to Stanley where you can climb The Nut for views of the area. Walk through the working wharf before heading to your rural accommodation near Smithton for the next two nights.

- Day 2
Smithton
Spend the day exploring the Tarkine Wilderness (Takayna) and its temperate rainforest. You'll see the Trowutta Arch and Lake Chisholm sinkhole, then head to Marrawah to see the big wave surfing area and the Edge of the World where ocean stretches to Argentina with no land in between. Short walks get you through these sites before you head back to your accommodation near Smithton. Later in the evening, the area is great for stargazing after the sun goes down.

Smithton to Corinna
Travel through Rocky Cape National Park to see windswept heathlands, sea caves and twisted rock formations shaped over millions of years. Stop at the historic lighthouse at Table Cape and walk around Boat Harbour Beach. You'll also visit Hellyer Gorge and hike to Philosopher Falls near Waratah. Later, settle into a restored miners' cottage in Corinna's remote rural town (heads up: no phone service here, so it's a chance to disconnect). End the day with a group dinner and watch the sunset.

Corinna to Cradle Mountain
Your morning is free to do as you like around Corinna and the Pieman River. If you're up for it, kayaking or hiking through Tarkine Rainforest are solid options in this area. After grabbing lunch, you'll head to Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park where your accommodation sits right among the trees. The afternoon is yours to relax or visit a wildlife facility to watch Tasmanian devils getting fed and cared for. By evening, settle in to catch the sunset over Cradle Mountain before wrapping up the day.

- Day 5
Cradle Mountain to Launceston
Following breakfast, hike the Dove Lake Circuit in the Cradle Mountain area. The board-walked trail circles the lake under the mountain's spires with easy walking and lots of time to take in the scenery. After the hike, head to a local restaurant in the park for a group lunch and relax by the fire. Then drive to Launceston with optional stops for tastings and shopping for local raspberries, cheese and ice cream. Spend the night in Launceston with your evening free to relax or join others for dinner.

Launceston/Hobart
The trip ends after breakfast if you're staying in Launceston. If you're heading to Hobart, you'll have breakfast and then travel there, arriving around 10:30 am. No activities are scheduled after arrival, so contact your booking agent if you'd like to extend your stay in Hobart.
