Itinerary

Day 1
Livingstone to Hwange National Park
A hotel pickup gets you started early from Livingstone, and then you'll cross into Zimbabwe over Victoria Falls Bridge. The drive takes you to Forgee's Guest Lodge where breakfast is waiting. After eating, you head into Hwange National Park for an afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle, where you'll spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras moving through the landscape. The ride back to Livingstone happens in the late afternoon, with arrival by evening.

Our guide Fines was the best ever, took excellent care of us, and taught us so much! We liked the itinerary, learning much about history and culture of Zambia. The food and restaurant choices were very good. The Livingston hotel has some issues, but staff Andrew, Michael and Joshua did their best to help. There were some unexpected changes on the last day, where we ended up paying a little more, but overall ok.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Lochinvar Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 33 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
