Frankfurt
A driver picks you up from Frankfurt Airport and takes you to your hotel. If your arrival time works out, you can hop on the MS Palladium for a boat tour down the River Main. From the water you'll get good views of Frankfurt's skyline and learn about the city's key landmarks.

Idstein
Take the train to Idstein, a charming town in the Taunus region. You have the flexibility to move around on your own and see what interests you most. The 14th-century Idstein Castle has Renaissance details and tower views worth checking out. The historic center is nice to walk through, and you can also visit Nassau Nature Park or stop at a local winery if wine tasting appeals to you.

Heidelberg
Head to Heidelberg by train for the day. The castle ruins are impressive with their mix of Gothic and Renaissance building styles, and the views from up there are good. The famous wine barrel is worth seeing, and afterward you can wander through the medieval town center with its narrow lanes and half-timbered houses. If you're interested, Philosophers' Way or a wine tasting can be added to your day.

Frankfurt to Berlin
You'll take a train from Frankfurt to Berlin between 8 AM and 11 AM, and the journey takes around 4 hours. Your train ticket is included, but after you arrive you'll need to get yourself from the station to the hotel using Berlin's tram and metro system or by taxi.

Berlin
Join a 2-hour guided walking tour that covers the Brandenburg Gate, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, and sections of the Berlin Wall. Later in the day, take a 1-hour cruise on the River Spree to see the Reichstag, Bellevue Palace, and Berlin Cathedral from the water. You'll need to get yourself to both meeting points using local transport.

Visit Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp to learn about what daily life was like for prisoners through the surviving buildings and monuments on site. You'll see Tower A, which served as the main prisoner entrance, and the 'Arbeit macht Frei' sign. Entry to the museum is free, but you need to arrange your own way to get there.

Berlin
Your trip ends today. A private car picks you up from your hotel 3 hours before your flight and takes you to Berlin Airport, so just confirm your flight time with the hotel when you arrive.
