- Day 1
Montreal
You'll arrive in Montreal throughout the afternoon and evening. Since flights come in at different times, the rest of your first day is unstructured, giving you a chance to head to your hotel, settle in, and get a feel for the city on your own terms. It's a good opportunity to walk around your neighborhood, grab dinner somewhere local, or simply rest after traveling.

- Day 2
Montreal
After breakfast, you'll take a panoramic city tour that covers Jacques Cartier Square and McGill University, then stop at a local bakery to try Montreal's famous bagels. From there, head up Mount Royal for views across the city. You'll have free time in the afternoon to relax at a sidewalk café, check out a museum, or do some shopping. Dinner takes you to a local restaurant where you can try some of Montreal's regional dishes.

- Day 3
Montreal to Charlevoix
Start your morning with breakfast at an Indigenous maple museum and grove where you'll see how fresh maple syrup is produced and learn about the ancestral traditions behind it. Next, visit the Albert Gilles Copper Art Studio and Museum to watch artisans hand-produce embossed copper pieces, a craft still practiced nowhere else in North America. You'll stop at Sanctuaire Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, North America's oldest pilgrimage site, before traveling to Charlevoix. Check in at Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, a historic castle-style hotel overlooking the St. Lawrence River, where you'll stay for two nights.

- Day 4
Charlevoix
This morning, climb aboard a large Zodiac boat to head out on the water for whale watching in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park. A naturalist guide will help you spot minke whales, fin whales, humpback whales, porpoises, and belugas. After you return, the afternoon is yours to use the resort's facilities, whether that's the spa, golf course, or hiking trails across the property. Dinner is included this evening.

Charlevoix to Quebec City
Begin at Papeterie Saint-Gilles, a workshop where artisans still use 17th-century techniques to make paper by hand. Then head out to a family-owned lavender farm to learn how they grow and process their lavender, and you can sample some lavender-based treats. Later, stand at Montmorency Falls, where water drops 272 feet off the Canadian Shield, which is about 100 feet higher than Niagara Falls. You'll have access to multiple lookout points to take in the views from different angles. By evening, you'll arrive in Quebec City, North America's only fortified city and the historical heart of French America.

- Day 6
Quebec City
This morning you have a choice: join a local guide for a walking tour through the history-filled streets of Old Quebec, or take a coach tour of both Old and New Quebec to see the provincial Parliament, Saint-Louis Gate, and the original settlement area. After that, you'll head to Île d'Orléans, one of Quebec's first colonized areas, for a culinary tour. You'll sample local cheese, fresh jams, and seasonal products while meeting the producers behind them. Stop at a vineyard for a tour and wine tasting with views of the island. The rest of the afternoon back in Quebec City is free time to explore on your own.

If you prefer a structured activity, you can join an optional tour of the Huron Wendat First Nations Museum to learn about Indigenous history and culture, and lunch there features First Nations cuisine. The afternoon gives you more leisure time before a farewell dinner this evening.
