- Day 1
Arrival in Mumbai
You'll land at Mumbai International Airport where a representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is open, so you can settle in at your own pace and get some rest after your journey.

Mumbai City Tour
After breakfast, you'll take a guided tour around Mumbai hitting the main spots. The Gateway of India comes first, then the Prince of Wales Museum where you'll see Indus Valley artifacts. From there you'll check out Mani Bhavan memorial, drive along Marine Drive, walk through the Hanging Gardens, and head down to Juhu Chowpatty Beach. Later in the evening you'll have time to shop before heading back to your hotel.

Mumbai to Pench National Park
You'll have breakfast and then head to Mumbai Airport for your flight to Nagpur. Once you land, your driver picks you up and takes you to Pench National Park. After checking in at the resort, the rest of the day is yours to relax or you can choose an optional jeep safari to start seeing the park.

Pench to Kanha National Park
After breakfast you'll travel to Kanha National Park, one of Asia's better-maintained parks at 940 square kilometers. You'll check into your resort and then have the rest of the day free. You can take walks around the area, enjoy the greenery, or talk with the park's naturalist if you'd like.

You'll head out for jeep safaris early in the morning and again in the afternoon for bird watching and tiger tracking. The park has about 150 bird species to look for. You'll also visit Bandhavgarh Fort, an ancient fort sitting 811 meters up with 39 caves, believed to be around 2,000 years old.

The Kandariya Mahadev Temple is the standout, and you'll also visit the Eastern Group of Temples.

Orchha to Gwalior
After breakfast you'll travel to Gwalior to see the 5th-century Gwalior Fort, which rises 300 feet and is one of India's most significant forts. You'll also visit the Gopachal Parvat Jain monuments with detailed carvings from the 7th to 15th centuries, the 9th-century Teli Ka Mandir, and the 11th-century Sas Bahu ka Mandir.

In the morning you'll get to Jhansi railway station to catch an express train to Agra. When you arrive at Agra station, your driver will be there for the hotel transfer. After checking in, you'll explore Itmad-ud-Daulah and Agra Fort. The evening is open for shopping in Agra's markets for handicrafts and souvenirs.

Agra to Jaipur
You'll get up early to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise and take in its beauty. Back at the hotel you'll have breakfast, and then you'll head toward Jaipur. On the way you'll stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site 37 kilometers from Agra and a 16th-century city that was once Emperor Akbar's capital. After exploring, you'll continue to Jaipur for the night.

Both complexes have great architecture that brings in visitors from around the world.

Udaipur Sightseeing and Lake Cruise
After breakfast you'll visit Sahelion-Ki-Bari, a beautiful garden designed for the royal ladies. You'll head to the Museum of Folk Art to see traditional costumes, puppets, dolls, masks, ornaments, and musical instruments. Then you'll check out the City Palace, the largest palace complex in India with collections from four generations of rulers. The day finishes with a peaceful boat ride on Lake Pichola before you return to your hotel.

You'll spend the full day on a sightseeing tour of Delhi. You'll start at Rajghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Then you'll visit Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque built by Emperor Shah Jahan. You'll ride a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk's busy market in Old Delhi, see the Presidential House and India Gate in Lutyens' Delhi, check out Humayun's Tomb from 1562, and wrap up at the Qutab Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret.
