Bangkok
Your morning begins with arrival in Bangkok and a hotel transfer. After checking in, you'll head out on a long tail boat in the afternoon, cruising along the Chao Phraya River and interior canals to reach Wat Arun temple. The evening is free for you to wander around and get a feel for the city at your own pace.

- Day 2
Bangkok
Following breakfast, you'll start at the Grand Royal Palace and Wat Phra Kaew to see the Emerald Buddha. From there, it's on to Wat Pho where you can see the large reclining Buddha. In the afternoon, your driver takes you to the Jim Thompson House, where you'll walk through this teak home and hear about the American businessman's life and his mysterious disappearance in 1967.

Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
This morning you'll head southwest of Bangkok to the Maeklong railway market, where you can take photos and grab local snacks. Then it's a motor boat ride through Damnoen Saduak floating market. After that, you'll drive to Kanchanaburi to see World War II sites including the Jeath War Museum and Cemetery, take a 30-minute train ride on the historic Death Railway with river views, and check out the Kwai Bridge.

You'll drive just over an hour to Ayutthaya, Thailand's former capital. There you'll see Wat Phu Khao Thong with its golden monastery, explore the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet, then visit Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit to see one of Thailand's largest bronze Buddha statues. After lunch on your own, you'll check out Wat Lokaya Sutha temple and its impressive reclining Buddha.

- Day 5
Ayutthaya to Hanoi
Your morning takes you to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya era and mixing European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese styles. You'll drive back to Bangkok by noon, then have free time before heading to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. After landing, your driver will take you to your hotel in the city center.

- Day 6
Hanoi to Ninh Binh
After breakfast, your driver and guide take you to Ninh Binh, where Vietnam's first capital stood in the 10th century. You'll explore Hoa Lu, visiting both the King Dinh Temple and King Le Temple. Lunch comes at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, a boat takes you through Trang An Grottoes with its 31 valleys and 50 caves surrounded by forested mountains full of unique plant and animal life.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
You'll drive 3 hours from Hanoi to Halong Bay after breakfast, reaching Vietnam's most famous World Heritage Site known for its thousands of islands and islets with caves holding stalactites and stalagmites. Once aboard your cruise, lunch is served while you sail. The afternoon brings activities like sightseeing, kayaking, swimming, and cave visits based on your cruise schedule. You'll spend the night on the boat.

Halong Bay to Ho Chi Minh City
Start your morning with coffee or tea while taking in the bay's landscape, then have breakfast. After eating, the cruise goes deeper into Halong Bay for more exploration. Brunch comes while sailing back to port. Your driver meets you and takes you to Hanoi for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where another driver transfers you to your hotel after landing.

Ho Chi Minh City
The drive to Cu Chi Tunnels takes about 1.5 hours from the city. You'll walk through the tunnels where Viet Cong soldiers lived underground during the Vietnam War, seeing secret wooden doors and various trap types including booby, rolling, clipping, conical, seesaw and folding chair traps, plus a B-52 bomb crater. Lunch happens at a local restaurant. The afternoon has you back in Ho Chi Minh City visiting the War Remnants Museum, then seeing French colonial buildings like The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office.

After breakfast, your guide picks you up for a trip to the Mekong Delta where boats, houses and markets sit on countless rivers and canals. You'll board a boat and cruise along a branch of the Mekong River, stopping at local workplaces. At a quiet village, you can take a short walk through dense coconut plantations to see how Delta village life really works. Lunch comes at a local restaurant, then you'll return to Ho Chi Minh City.

- Day 11
Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap
Following breakfast, your driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. After meeting your driver and guide at arrival, you'll head to your hotel where the room might not be ready until 2:00 pm. Once settled, a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake takes you to see the fishermen's floating village with floating schools, a floating police station and other local structures on Southeast Asia's largest permanent freshwater lake.

- Day 12
Angkor
Your tour guide meets you at the hotel lobby to start exploring Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its beauty and the world's longest continuous bas-relief showing Hindu mythology stories. You'll then go to Angkor Thom ancient capital to see the South Gate with ocean churning statues, Bayon Temple with 54 towers and 200 smiling faces, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch on your own, you'll visit Ta Prohm temple, left intentionally partially unrestored with massive fig and silk-cotton trees growing through towers and corridors.

- Day 13
Siem Reap to Phnom Penh
After hotel breakfast, your driver and guide drive you 312km to Phnom Penh in about 5 hours. Along the way, you'll stop briefly at Kompong Kdei Bridge, an attractive structure built by Jayavarman VII around 1000 years ago, and stop at Skun to find local specialties like fried spider and fried crickets. Upon arrival, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant at your own expense. After resting, you'll see the colorful Khmer-style Royal Palace built in 1866, the nearby Silver Pagoda containing Buddha statues with gold and gemstones, and then visit Tuol Sleng Prison, now the Genocide Museum, a former Khmer Rouge security camp.

Phnom Penh
You'll have breakfast at your hotel followed by free time to walk around Phnom Penh at your leisure. Later your driver will pick you up for the transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for your departure. This marks the end of your tour.
