Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Vienna to Málaga to Ronda

You'll fly from Vienna to Málaga, then transfer by car to Ronda. It's a bit of a drive, so you'll arrive with time to settle in before heading down for a late dinner at your hotel. The winding roads through the mountains give you your first taste of southern Spain's landscape.

    Gibraltar - Jerez

Start the morning checking out Ronda's famous bullring and the historic bridges spanning the dramatic gorge. The old town itself is worth a couple hours of wandering. After that, you'll head to Gibraltar for a minibus tour of this British enclave, where you can see Monkey Rock and get a real sense of how different it is from the rest of Spain. Later you'll drive to Jerez, known for its horses, bulls, and sherry wine production. Dinner will give you a chance to try some local specialties.
