Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Malta
Your flight arrives at Malta International Airport, and from there you'll head to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is open for you to rest up and get settled after traveling.
- Day 2
Valletta
A local guide takes you into Valletta, Malta's capital, where you'll start at the Upper Barracca Gardens for views across the Grand Harbour. After that, you're heading to St John's Cathedral to see Caravaggio's paintings, then through the Grand Masters' Palace. There's a 5D show about Malta's history to catch before the afternoon opens up for you to wander around Valletta on your own. You'll head back to Mellieha by evening.

Gozo Island
You'll take a ferry over to Gozo, the island off Malta's north coast. Starting at Mgarr Harbour with its colorful boats, you then move to the Ggantija Megalithic temples, which are among the oldest freestanding structures anywhere. Next comes Victoria, the medieval capital, followed by the fjord-like Xlendi bay and the inland sea at Dwejra. Lunch happens at a local restaurant where you'll have time to pick up crafts or just relax. The ferry back to Mellieha leaves in the afternoon.

Mdina and Rabat
You're heading to Mdina, the medieval fortified city known as the Silent City because of its quiet, shaded streets behind impressive walls. From there, you'll check out the Christian catacombs in nearby Rabat, then move on to Dingli Cliffs for views across the island. Lunch is at a local restaurant, and after that you'll have time to walk through Mdina at your own pace before heading back to Mellieha.

The Three Cities
The day takes you to the Three Cities area around the Grand Harbour. You'll walk through the narrow, preserved streets of Vittoriosa past Fort St Angelo down to the waterfront. Then comes a traditional dghajsa boat tour through the creeks, which gives you a different perspective on the harbor. Senglea Garden sits at the peninsula's tip with views of the Grand Harbour. The afternoon is free for independent exploring or shopping before you return to Mellieha.
