Itinerary
- Day 1
Nayapul to Ulleri
You'll drive 41km across high hill sections with views of the greater Himalayas to reach Nayapul. From there, the trek follows steep trails through lush woodlands, crossing a small stream bridge and passing through villages. After climbing more than 3300 stone stairs, you'll arrive at Ulleri, a large Magar village sitting at 2080 meters elevation.

Ulleri to Ghorepani
The trek takes you through deep wilderness, crossing suspension bridges over rivers and river networks. You'll pass through pasture and agricultural fields before entering deep forest trails with magnificent oak and rhododendron forests. Several streams and the Magar villages of Banthanti and Nangathanti (2460 meters) dot the route. You can spot eight different species of Nepal's national flower rhododendron along the way before reaching Ghorepani.

Ghorepani to Ghandruk
Wake before dawn and head to Poon Hill, climbing for around a couple of hours on ascending trails with well-maintained stairs. At the top, you'll see panoramic views of snowcapped peaks including Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna I, and Machhapuchhre. After taking in the morning views, descend via the main trail heading south over stone-paved paths and stairs to reach the tiny settlement of Ghandruk.

Ghandruk to Landruk
After breakfast, trek across steep hill sections heading towards Modi Khola, then ascend through lush sub-tropical woodlands with grand views of the Himalayas. You'll reach the village of Landruk where there's time to rest and relax, exploring the surrounding region at your own pace.
Landmarks Landruk - Day 5
Landruk to Forest Camp
Wake before dawn to take in grand sunrise views. After breakfast, trek through woodlands gaining altitude as you pass through lush rhododendrons and sub-tropical woodlands with mountain backdrops. You'll reach Forest Camp where you can relax and enjoy views of the lush forest and snowcapped mountain range.
Landmarks Forest Camp - Day 6
Forest Camp to Badal Danda
Trek through lush woodlands gaining altitude with views of the greater Himalayan range including Annapurna and Machhapuchhre glowing in the morning rays. Follow uphill trails to reach Badal Danda settlement where you can relax and soak in the landscape views.
Landmarks Badal Danda - Day 7
Badal Danda to High Camp and Return
Wake to grand sunrise views. After breakfast, trek through forested trails that thin out as you gain altitude and follow ridge sections. Keep watch for several bird species along the way. Progress on uphill trails with Himalayan views before reaching high camp to enjoy the surrounding views. Then retrace your steps back to Badal Danda.
Landmarks High Camp - Day 8
Badal Danda to Kalimati
After breakfast, trek with mostly downhill sections. Take it slow and rest frequently since the downhill track is tough on the legs. The first section traverses ridges followed by forested trails. You'll reach Kalimati and head to your accommodation to celebrate finishing the trek.
Landmarks Kalimati - Day 9
Kalimati to Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, trek through woodlands and villages to reach Lumre. From Lumre, take a short drive to Pokhara and then catch a flight to Kathmandu.
