One of the highlights was visiting the church, which had a picture of the serbian prince financing the monasteries on Meteora. izabelle· September 20th, 2019It was all good. In Meteora the guides were excellent. The buses were very comfortable. What I did not like is the lack of translation and assistance. Everything was in Greek so the first morning , while figuring out how to get to the second train platform in Athens, I missed my train.I had to pay 70 Euros for a taxi driver to race me to the next stop to catch the train. Later on the train between Meteora and Delphi, again due to lack of understanding I was in the wrong car and also i did not know where to get off...I could not understand what the names of the different stations were, when the speaker was announcing them on the train...all Greek to me. Visit MeteoraOperator•Written August 2024The cost for a single traveler is 600 euro. This tour package includes 2 nights at Meteora and 1 in Delphi. Airport pick up is not included; the trip from Athens to Meteora is done by a bus that departs from outside the train station in Athens at 8:00am.

In Delphi there is no scheduled tour as part of the package. Our part in Delphi (apart from Meteora) will offer transportation to Delphi, overnight stay in a local hotel, and bus tickets for the next day to return to Athens. You will have free to time to vist the Delphi archaeological site on your own.
