Departure
Your flight to Cambodia takes off today. Pack everything you need and head to the airport with excitement for the journey ahead.

Siem Reap
You'll arrive in Siem Reap and get transferred to your hotel. After settling in, spend the afternoon walking through the city's spiritual center with its temples and royal gardens. Check out the Old Market before dinner.

Angkor
Start early at Angkor Wat to see the intricate corridors and murals, then head to Angkor Thom to find the face towers. Walk through Ta Prohm temple with its jungle roots, and catch the sunset from Sras Srang. An optional acrobatic show happens in the evening if interested.

Tonle Sap Lake
See Banteay Srei's red sandstone temples and check out rural life with a chance to try palm wine. After the Landmine Museum, take a boat through Kampong Khleang on Tonle Sap lake, passing floating houses and flooded forests.

Preah Vihear
Head into remote Cambodia by four-wheel drive up mountain roads to Preah Vihear temple complex (210 km). From the top, you'll see views across Thailand and Cambodia before exploring five temples spread over 800 meters with carved lintels and few other visitors around.

Banlung
Travel to Ratanakiri province on bumpier roads through less touristy areas (320 km). Stop for lunch along the way, then reach Banlung. Cool off with a swim in crater lake Yeak Loam, browse the local market, and return to your hotel.

Ta Veang
Start the morning heading north to Ta Veang, where you'll see the distinctive red earth landscape that makes this area so visually striking. The terrain here is quite different from other parts of Cambodia. From there, you'll make your way to the Banlung market, which gets busy during the day and shows you a lot about local trade and daily life. You'll see everything from fresh produce to household goods and textiles. Later in the afternoon, you'll visit a Kroeung village where you can interact with residents and learn about the different minority cultures living throughout the region. These communities have their own traditions and ways of life that are worth understanding.

Bousra Falls
On the drive to Mondulkiri (185 km), you'll hear then see Bousra Falls with water dropping 35 meters through a jungle gorge. Stop at plantations growing pepper, manioc, rubber and tea in the cooler climate.

Elephant Valley
Spend the morning at Elephant Valley ecotourism project on 1,500 hectares where elephants live naturally without shows. Hike about 7 km over jungle paths to see them. The afternoon is free to rest and relax.

Head to Cambodia's capital after breakfast (180 km). Relax by the pool, then in late afternoon visit Preah Ang Dong Ker shrine to watch people pray. Walk past the Royal Palace along the riverbank, grab a sunset cocktail, then take a tuk tuk tour with dinner.
