The hike covers 4 to 6 km through the 100-meter cliffs and sandstone chasms, taking 3 to 4 hours depending on your pace. From there, you'll drive through the rugged outback via either Mereenie Loop or Ernest Giles Road (depending on current conditions), covering 370 km in around 4 hours with wide open views of the remote countryside.
