Itinerary
- Day 1
Halifax
You'll arrive in Halifax and get settled into your accommodation right in the city center. Later this evening, you'll meet up with your tour guide and the other travelers to go over what's coming up on the trip.
Landmarks Halifax - Day 2
Peggy's Cove - Lunenburg - Halifax
Head out to Peggy's Cove for breakfast while looking out at one of the world's most photographed lighthouses. After that, you'll drive along the south shore and stop in Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site with old colonial buildings. You can walk around and check out the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic while you're there.

- Day 3
Charlottetown
This morning you'll learn about the Mi'kmaq people at the Millbrook Cultural & Heritage Centre. Then you'll cross the Confederation Bridge over to Prince Edward Island and head to Charlottetown, where you'll stay for two nights. In the evening, there's a theatre performance with local performers to catch.

- Day 4
Charlottetown
The morning is yours to explore Charlottetown on your own, or you can join a complimentary walking tour if that interests you. In the afternoon, you'll drive up the north shore of the island and see red cliffs, white beaches, and sand dunes in Prince Edward Island National Park. You'll stop at Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place and wrap up with a traditional lobster supper served hall-style.

Baddeck
You'll take the ferry across the Northumberland Strait back to Nova Scotia and then drive to Cape Breton Island via the Canso Causeway. Once you arrive, there's a sightseeing boat tour on Bras d'Or Lake, and then you'll settle into your accommodation in Baddeck for two nights.

- Day 6
Cape Breton Highlands National Park - Baddeck
Today you're driving the Cabot Trail, one of North America's most popular scenic routes. The road winds around Cape Breton's rocky northern coast and climbs up to the plateaus of Cape Breton Highlands National Park. You'll stop at overlooks for views and visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site.

Halifax
After breakfast, you'll visit the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, which is a reconstruction of the 1744 French settlement. You'll drive back along the Bras d'Or Lake shore and return to Halifax for your last night in the Maritimes.

Halifax
This is your final day. You'll have breakfast at the hotel and then check out to head home.
