Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangkok
You'll arrive at Bangkok airport and get picked up for the drive to your hotel. Check-in opens at 2:00 PM, so once you're settled, the rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to rest up after traveling.
- Day 2
Bangkok
After breakfast, you'll head out to see the Grand Royal Palace and Wat Phra Kaew with the Emerald Buddha inside. From there, you'll check out Wat Pho for the giant reclining Buddha, then Wat Traimit to see the Golden Buddha statue. Later in the afternoon, a long tail boat takes you along the Chao Phraya River and through the interior canals, stopping at Wat Arun before heading back to your hotel for some downtime.

Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
After breakfast, you'll travel out to Samut Songkhram Province for a countryside day. First stop is the Mae Klong Railway Market where vendors pull back their stalls as trains roll through, then you'll take a paddle boat through the canals at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market (or head to the quieter Tha Kha market on weekends if you prefer). Next comes Kanchanaburi to visit the World War II memorial and cemetery, followed by a scenic 30-minute train ride along the Death Railway before getting to your hotel.

Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya
After breakfast, it's more than a 2-hour drive to Bang Pa-In to visit the Summer Palace, which blends European, Khmer, Thai, and Chinese architecture and serves as the King's retreat. Then you'll head to Ayutthaya, the former Thai capital, and tour temples by colorful Kermit tuk-tuk including Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat with its Buddha face in a tree, and Wat Phra Srisanphet, plus time at a local market.

Ayutthaya to Uthai Thani
After breakfast, you'll travel through Lopburi to King Narai's Palace, built in 1666 during the reign of King Narai between 1656 and 1688. Continue through the countryside to Ban Khok Mo village to see traditional weaving, then visit the Thasung temple with its crystal hall. A scenic boat ride on the Sakaekrang River shows you floating houses before you reach town in time to explore the colorful night market.

Uthai Thani to Sukhothai
About 45 minutes out, you'll explore a cave that leads to a hidden valley at Hub Patthard. Then comes Kampheang Phet, a UNESCO Heritage Site with Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Phra Tat, and the Aranyik Archaeological Site to check out. After driving through scenic countryside, you'll reach Phitsanulok to see the Cha Tawee Folk Museum and the riverside Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat temple, which holds one of Thailand's most sacred Buddha images, finishing the day in Sukhothai.

- Day 7
Sukhothai
After breakfast, you'll start cycling through Sukhothai Historical Park with its nearly 200 ruined chedis in great condition. You'll visit the Ajana Buddha image at Wat Sri Chum, cycle to Wat Prapailuang and continue through Wat Sri Sawai, Wat Sra Sri, and Wat Trapang Ngoen. In the afternoon, you transfer to Lampang for the night.

Lampang to Chiang Rai
After breakfast, you'll visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, an excellent example of Lanna style architecture from the 13th century that's been beautifully preserved. Then a 30-minute horse-cart ride takes you through the city and surrounding villages. Later you'll continue to Chiang Rai with a rest stop at Phayao Lake where you can grab coffee and take in the lake views.

Chiang Rai to Chiang Saen
After breakfast, you'll explore northern Thailand's wooded, mountainous terrain with tea plantations covering the green hills. You'll head to Mae Salong to taste the locally produced tea, visit an Akha ethnic minority village in Loyo, and explore Mae Fah Luang botanical garden. Then a boat trip on the Mekong River at the Golden Triangle lets you see where Thailand, Burma, and Laos meet.

You'll visit the Royal Doi Angkhang Project station to see the flower and fruit plantations that grow in the cool climate, plus hill tribe villages like Ban Khum.

You'll leave for Chiang Mai via Chiang Dao, stopping to explore the remarkable Chiang Dao Cave with its four interconnected caverns full of incredible stalactites where you'll need to bend down and sometimes crawl through passages. By afternoon you'll arrive in Chiang Mai for a shared thai cooking class where you'll learn to make dishes like thai yellow curry and mango sticky rice to take the flavors home.

Chiang Mai

Later you'll head up to Doi Suthep hill and finish the evening browsing the Night Market.

After breakfast, you'll transfer to the Elephant Poopoo Paper Farm, an eco-friendly outdoor museum showcasing how paper products are made from elephant dung fibers. Eight pavilions guide you through the complete process from elephant dung to finished product, and you'll get to try making poopoo paper yourself. In the afternoon, a two-hour boat trip along the Mae Ping River shows you the landscape and traditional teak houses.

The whole day is free for you to explore, relax, or enjoy beach activities however you like.

Another full day to spend as you wish in Phuket.
- Day 17
Phuket to Koh Phi Phi
You'll have free time in Phuket before heading to the ferry around 8:30 AM to Koh Phi Phi. After checking in at your hotel on the island, the rest of the day is yours to explore or relax.

The entire day is free on Koh Phi Phi for you to explore the island, relax on the beaches, or try out water activities.
- Day 19
Koh Phi Phi
Another full day at leisure on Koh Phi Phi to relax and enjoy the island at your own pace.

After breakfast, you'll take the ferry from Koh Phi Phi back to Phuket around 2:30 PM, then transfer to Phuket airport for your flight home. Tour ends here.
