Itinerary
- Day 1
Amsterdam
You'll be met at the airport and taken directly to your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship. The captain and crew will welcome you on board, so you can get settled into your cabin and meet the other guests. This is mainly a travel and embarkation day, so plan to explore the ship and grab dinner when you're ready.

- Day 2
Amsterdam
Start with a glass-top canal boat tour through Amsterdam's UNESCO World Heritage canal system. You'll glide past the medieval centre and see the Roman patrician houses from the water. From there, the ship heads toward the Rhine River through the Dutch countryside. Later in the afternoon, there's a demonstration on board where you can learn about traditional Dutch clog painting.

Landmarks Amsterdam Canal System - Day 3
Düsseldorf
In Düsseldorf, you'll take a panoramic tour through the city to see the stylish boutiques and the charming Old Town. After that, walk along the Rhine River and check out the local architecture. Back on the ship this afternoon, there's a cocktail-making demonstration where you can learn some new techniques while the Star-Ship continues down the river.

- Day 4
Koblenz
You'll arrive in Koblenz and head to local vineyards to learn about the region's winemaking heritage. The tour covers how Riesling grapes are grown here and you'll get to sample some of the wines. Later, head back to the ship where there's a cooking demonstration on board as you sail along the Rhine.

- Day 5
Heidelberg
The ship arrives in Heidelberg, a UNESCO City of Literature. Your guided tour starts at the Renaissance ruins of Heidelberg Castle, an important Renaissance structure north of the Alps. From there, you'll see the gardens with water features, sculptures, and colorful flowerbeds that are carefully maintained throughout the grounds.

Strasbourg
After crossing the river from Kehl, you'll arrive in Strasbourg, the capital of France's Alsace Region. The panoramic walking tour covers the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town, including Maison Kammerzell and the canal network of Petite France. You'll have free time later to wander around on your own and find a place for lunch or shopping.

Departure
After breakfast, you'll say goodbye to your fellow guests and leave the Star-Ship for your transfer to the airport. You're heading home with memories from the Black Forest, the canal systems, and all the different experiences along the Rhine River.
