Itinerary
- Day 1
Bath - Bristol
Meet your group and board the coach heading to Windsor Castle for views of the royal residence. After that you'll have free time to walk around the town, check out the gardens, and enjoy the riverside setting. From there it's on to Bath where you can spend time exploring at your own pace, whether that's the Royal Crescent, Roman Baths, Jane Austen museum, or taking a canal cruise. Later you'll arrive in Bristol, drop your bags at the hotel, have dinner, and then head out to explore the streets with your new travel friends.

Start with breakfast, then you have the option to join a local guide exploring Bristol's street art scene before heading to Oxford. Once there you can check out the famous museums, libraries, churches, and university buildings, plus you can punt on the river if that interests you. The day includes a quick stop in Stratford-upon-Avon to see Shakespeare's historic town. By evening you'll arrive in Birmingham, get settled at the hotel, and grab dinner in the local area.

Liverpool - Manchester
After breakfast you'll board the coach to Liverpool for a guided city tour covering Beatlemania and football culture. Then it's on to Manchester where you'll spend the night and can explore the music scene however you like. Note that some departures stay overnight in Liverpool instead, so check your travel documents to confirm your specific routing (under 200 chars).

York
Leaving Manchester behind, you're heading to York, a walled city with 2,000 years of history. Spend time wandering the narrow lanes, taking in York Minster and Clifford's Tower, and checking out the Shambles. If folklore interests you, there's a ghost tour available to explore dark alleyways and hear ghostly stories from a local guide.

Lake District - Hadrian's Wall - Carlisle
Departing York, you'll drive through rolling green hills and past 16 lakes in the Lake District. Along the way you'll see Hadrian's Wall, an impressive example of Roman engineering. The day ends in Carlisle, England's northernmost town before the Scottish border, where you'll settle in for the night.

Scottish Border - Edinburgh
Crossing the English and Scottish border, you'll head toward Edinburgh. Once there you can feel the energy of this vibrant city with its music festivals, creative culture, and lively bars. To finish the day you'll have a Scottish meal complete with haggis and a traditional bagpiper performance.

Edinburgh
Today is yours to explore Edinburgh at your own pace. You can optionally join a local guide to tour Edinburgh Castle perched on an extinct volcano, or wander Princes Street for tartan shopping, or try a whisky tasting experience. There's plenty of time to discover the city however you prefer.

Heading out from Edinburgh toward the Scottish Highlands, you'll stop in St. Andrews, birthplace of golf and home to Scotland's oldest university. From there you'll travel through rugged mountain scenery continuing into the Highlands. When you arrive you'll have the option to compete in traditional Highland games.

Loch Ness - Glasgow
You'll cruise on Loch Ness, the UK's most voluminous lake, and visit a rewilding centre to see how Scotland's native species like Red Squirrels, Lynx, and Beavers are being reintroduced. There's an optional canoe across the southern end of Loch Ness to spot more wildlife. Later you arrive in Glasgow, grab dinner, and rest up for tomorrow.

Stirling - Helix Park - Glasgow
Early morning departure to Stirling where William Wallace fought against the English. You'll visit the famous hilltop Stirling Castle and stop at Helix Park to see The Kelpies, 100ft tall horse statues. Back in Glasgow you can experience live music, the gothic cathedral, quirky characters, and optionally join a local meal with traditional live music to celebrate your final Scottish night.
