Arrival in Prague
You'll get picked up at the airport and driven to your hotel in Prague's historic centre. Later in the evening, you'll meet the other travellers and your Tour Director at a Welcome Reception.

Prague Old Town
Prague exploration starts with a tour of the Old Town. You'll head to Strahov Monastery for views across the city, then walk over Charles Bridge toward Old Market Square. The Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square is next, after which you can explore the city on your own. If you're interested, there's an optional traditional Czech folklore dinner and show in the evening.

Prague at Leisure
This day is yours to use however you like. The Jewish Quarter is worth checking out if you want to see where writer Franz Kafka grew up and learn about local history. Or you can join an optional guided tour to Prague Castle, one of the world's largest castle complexes that dates back to the 9th century.

Prague to Budapest
After breakfast, you'll board a coach heading to Budapest. Once there, you'll get on your river ship. Later this evening, there's a Welcome Reception with the other travellers.

Budapest
You'll disembark and take a guided tour of Budapest with a local guide who shows you the city's important sights. Back on the ship that evening, dinner is a Gala Welcome Dinner while you cruise.

Bratislava
A guided walking tour takes you through Bratislava's Old Town in Slovakia. You'll walk past charming streets and see St. Martin's Cathedral, Primatial Palace, Main Square, and Michael's Gate, which is the only surviving entrance from the four that used to protect the city.

Vienna
Vienna starts with a drive along the Ringstrasse to see the city's most iconic buildings. Then you'll get a guided walking tour covering St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Graben, and Hofburg Palace. After that, there's time to browse the Naschmarkt stalls. An optional Mozart and Strauss concert with an evening drive is available if you're interested.

- Day 8
Dürnstein and Melk
You'll cruise to Dürnstein, a town with castle ruins overlooking it from the hills (King Richard the Lionheart was held there in the 12th century). The morning is free to walk the cobbled streets and check out historic townhouses and taverns. Wine tasting is optional. Later, the ship cruises through the Wachau Valley before stopping in Melk for a guided tour of Melk Abbey, an active Benedictine monastery since 1089.

Český Krumlov, Salzburg, or Linz
You have choices today. Join an optional day trip to Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic, which has over 300 historical buildings. Or take a trip to Salzburg through scenic Austria, visiting Mondsee and Mozart's hometown with time to explore on your own. You can also stay in Linz and explore at your own pace.

Passau and Aldersbach Brewery
In Passau, a guided walking tour takes you through the Altstadt's cobblestone lanes and historic areas. Then you'll visit the Aldersbach brewery, founded in 1268, where local musicians welcome you and show you around. After that, you'll head to the festival hall to try locally brewed beer with food tastings in the style of Oktoberfest, complete with live music and singing.

Munich Discovery
A guided tour covers Munich, which many consider Germany's most beautiful city. You'll see the famous Glockenspiel on the Town Hall and explore the historic centre with the iconic Frauenkirche. The afternoon is free to relax or continue looking around. That evening, there's a special dinner.

Munich at Leisure or Castles Tour
You have a free day in Munich. An optional full-day coach tour is available to visit two Bavarian castles: Linderhof Castle (a French rococo-style palace inspired by Versailles with manicured gardens) and Neuschwanstein Castle (a fairy-tale castle on a cliff in the Bavarian Alps that inspired Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle). The interiors have colorful murals and grand opulence surrounded by mountains, forests and lakes.
