Itinerary
- Day 1
Chengdu
Your guide meets you at Chengdu airport or the railway station and takes you to your hotel. Once you've checked in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and explore at your own pace.

- Day 2
Chengdu
An early pickup gets you to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, located about 10 km outside the city center. You'll have time to see the pandas before heading to lunch, where you'll try traditional Chinese hotpot. After that, Renmin Park is next on the schedule for a tea break and an optional mahjong lesson if you're interested. Later, you'll have some time at Jinli Old Street for shopping before returning to your hotel.

Chengdu to Mt. Emei
After breakfast, you'll drive roughly 1.5 hours to Mt. Leshan to see the tall stone Buddha statue. A 30-minute cruise gives you a good view of the mountain and the Buddha from the water. Then it's about another hour of driving to reach the Mt. Emei area, where you'll check into your hotel and have free time for the rest of the evening.

- Day 4
Mt. Emei to Chengdu
This morning you take a cable car up Mt. Emei to the Golden Summit and spend some time exploring the mountain. After you head back down, it's a 165 km drive returning to Chengdu. Once you arrive at your hotel, you'll have the remainder of the day to rest or do whatever you'd like.

Chengdu to Chongqing
Your guide meets you at Chongqing's train station. First, you'll see Liziba Station, the subway station known for trains passing right through buildings. Then you'll check out the Ancient Town of Ciqikou, ride the Yangtze River Ropeway, and visit Hong Ya Cave. The day ends with your hotel drop-off in Chongqing.

Chongqing to Wulong
After breakfast, you'll drive to Wulong, which takes about 3.5 hours covering 220 km. Lunch is a local meal in Wulong, then you head to the Three Natural Bridges scenic area where shuttle and trolley buses take you around. Later, you'll explore Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, a dramatic landscape with sheer rock walls dropping 200 to 500 meters. Dinner happens in Wulong before you settle in at your hotel there.

The morning drive to Dazu is only 60 km, so you'll arrive with time to visit the Dazu Rock Carvings, which represent an important part of Chinese artistic heritage. Once you've finished exploring, you'll head back to Chongqing for the night.

Chongqing Departure
You'll leave Chongqing today with a transfer to either the airport or train station, depending on how you're continuing to your next destination.
