We spent a couple of days visiting Tokyo, Kyoto and did a day trip to see Mount Fuji. It was helpful to have guides to show us the major attractions. The hotels were very good - especially the one in Kyoto. Unfortunately, the level of the guides varied a lot. Also, the booking process was cumbersome with a massive number of back-and-forth e-mailing. Overall the trip was expensive for the value we received.

    Asked on January 28th, 2025

Is it possible to take part in only a part of the tour? I would be with a group of 5 people, 4 people would follow the full 7 day itinerary. I however would need to depart early after day 3. Would this be possible to book? At what time is the itinerary for day 3 finished (trip to Mt. Fuji)? Would it be possible to fly out of Tokyo the same evening?

We can plan trip for all of you together for first 3 days, and you depart on day 3, while others continue. We will arrange the transfer for you back to Tokyo for the departure. And of course the pricing will be different, around 35-40% of the total price for you.
