- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and check into your hotel, then have the afternoon and early evening to walk around the city on your own. This evening you're meeting up with your travel director and the group for a casual dinner to get to know everyone.

- Day 2
Athens
After breakfast, join a guided tour through the Acropolis to see the Parthenon, Royal Palace, and Temple of Zeus. You'll also visit the Acropolis Museum to check out ancient artifacts, then pass by Hadrian's Arch and the 1896 Olympic stadium. The afternoon is free so you can wander through Plaka, grab lunch in Syntagma Square, or search for good souvlaki around the city.

Athens to Nafplion
Head out from Athens crossing the Corinth Canal to the Peloponnesian Peninsula. A local specialist guides you through ancient Corinth, then it's on to Mycenae where you'll see the Beehive Tombs, the Lion Gate, and palace ruins. Next comes Epidaurus for the ancient theatre and Sanctuary of Asclepius. You'll finish up in Nafplion, a Venetian town where dinner waits at your hotel.

- Day 4
Nafplion to Olympia
Drive through the Arcadian mountains toward Olympia, stopping at a family-run honey farm to taste thyme honey and learn about traditional beekeeping. Once in Olympia, explore where the Olympic Games started in 776 BC, walking past temple ruins for Zeus and Hera and standing in the original stadium. Your evening is open for exploring the village, dining at a taverna, or resting at the hotel.

Olympia to Delphi
Start with a local specialist exploring the Olympic site, museum, and temple ruins. Then the Karabelas family hosts you at their olive and wine estate for a homecooked meal, traditional dancing, and Greek hospitality. Later you'll head north along the coast to Patras, cross the Gulf of Corinth, and continue to Delphi. An optional cooking lesson is available if you're interested.

Delphi to Kalambaka
Walk the Sacred Way with your local specialist to see the Temple of Apollo from the 4th century and statues from the Pythian Games. After that, you'll drive to Thermopylae where the Spartans made their stand against the Persians. Then cross the Thessaly plain (Greece's agricultural heart) and arrive in Kalambaka.

Visit the UNESCO monasteries of Meteora, visiting two of the six Eastern Orthodox monasteries stacked on immense rock towers above the town with your local specialist. You'll drive back to Athens afterward, then gather with your group for a final dinner to wrap up your journey through Greece.

Mykonos to Patmos
Cruise to Kusadasi on the Turkish coast for a complimentary shore experience visiting ancient Ephesus. From there continue to Patmos, the sacred island where St. John wrote Revelation. You can choose to see the Cave of the Apocalypse and St. John's Monastery if you want.

Patmos to Santorini
Cruise to Crete and either explore the Palace of Knossos with its restored frescoes or head into the countryside for authentic Cretan culture. Later sail toward Santorini, watching the island emerge from the sea with its cliff-top towns. An optional shore experience lets you visit villages and vineyards on the way to Oia with its white buildings and blue-domed churches overlooking the caldera.
