You'll arrive at Nuremberg Airport where a Uniworld representative meets you for the transfer to your river cruise ship. This gives you time to settle in and get oriented before the journey down the Danube begins.

The morning starts with a panoramic city tour of Nuremberg, taking in the layout and history of this medieval city. Then you head to the largest Christmas Market in the area with around 200 stalls selling holiday ornaments, nutcrackers, hand-carved toys, and seasonal food. The air fills with the scent of roasting nuts, cinnamon, and grilled sausages as you browse and sample treats.
