  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Hanoi

    You'll arrive at Noi Bai International Airport where someone will meet you and drive you to your hotel in central Hanoi. After you get settled, the day is pretty much open. You can rest if you need it, or wander around the city on your own. Your guide is there if you want help with anything.

  2. Day 2

    Hanoi City Tour

    Following breakfast, your guide takes you through Hanoi's key sites, starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex where you'll see his mausoleum, the gardens, and his stilt house. From there you'll head to the Presidential Palace, then check out the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. Later you'll visit the Ethnology Museum to learn about Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups and how their architectural styles differ.

  3. Day 3

    Hanoi to Ha Long Bay

    After breakfast, you'll drive about 3 hours through the Red River Delta farmlands to reach Ha Long City. There you'll board a luxury wooden junk and start cruising through the UNESCO World Heritage bay, passing limestone formations and looking out at the emerald water. Lunch is fresh seafood served right on the boat, and afterward you'll get time to swim and explore the limestone caves before anchoring for the night near a secluded island.

  4. Day 4

    Ha Long Bay to Ninh Binh

    Start early with a swim and watching the sunrise over Ha Long Bay, then have breakfast onboard. You'll continue exploring the bay's quieter areas before heading back to the main harbor around midday. After that, it's a 3 hour drive to Ninh Binh. Once you check into your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to do what you like.

  5. Day 5

    Ninh Binh Exploration

    After breakfast, you'll explore Ninh Binh, which was Vietnam's capital long ago. Take a boat ride through Tam Coc where limestone karsts jut up from green rice paddies, and visit the Hoa Lu site from the 10th century with its Dinh and Le temples. Later you'll climb 500 stone steps up Mua Cave to the top and get panoramic views of the countryside and the Ngo Dong River below.

    • For any tour departing before February 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Asia King Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
