- Day 1
Mahé
You'll arrive in Mahé and get settled on your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht. From there, you'll head out on the water and sail toward La Digue, reaching the island later in the afternoon. It's a good day to get your bearings and start getting comfortable on the boat.

- Day 2
La Digue to Praslin
La Digue is up first, where you'll check out Anse Source d'Argent with its pink sand beaches and those distinctive granite boulders. After grabbing lunch, you'll sail to Praslin Island to see the tropical jungle beaches and reefs, plus a chance to visit Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve, which is a UNESCO site. Plenty to take in on this day.

The Amirante Islands are your destination today. You can walk or hike through the palm canopies and spot different bird species. There's diving, fishing, and wildlife observation available if you want to get more active, so it depends on what appeals to you most.

Farquhar Group
The Farquhar Group is a ring-shaped atoll with ten islands. You'll see the shallow lagoon with coconut and casuarina trees scattered around. Sea turtles nest here, and the area has important biodiversity regions, so there's a lot worth looking at if you're into nature.

Aldabra Atoll
Aldabra Atoll comes into view today. It's one of the largest atolls in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located closer to the African coast on the southwestern side, it's quite remote, which makes it special. The natural beauty and biodiversity here are really something.

Aldabra Atoll
You'll continue at Aldabra, exploring the four large coral islands that make up the atoll and the shallow lagoon they enclose. The real draw here is the giant tortoise population roughly 100,000 of them, which is the largest concentration anywhere. You'll also see lots of other plants and animals unique to this place.

Aldabra Atoll

At Sea

Kilwa Kisiwani
Kilwa Kisiwani is a UNESCO World Heritage site off southern Tanzania. You'll see the Great Mosque, which is the oldest standing mosque on the East African coast, with sixteen domed and vaulted bays. It was a major medieval trade hub, so there's real history to take in here.

Mafia Island

Zanzibar
Zanzibar is an archipelago off East Africa and part of Tanzania. Stone Town is the historical center and a UNESCO site, with narrow streets and coral-hewn houses showing African, European, and Indian influences. Zanzibar earned the name 'Spice Islands' and still produces cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and black pepper.
