Siem Reap to Koh Ker
Starting from Siem Reap, you'll head out on dirt roads that cut through rural farmland and small villages on your way to Koh Ker. The temple complex sits hidden in the jungle and feels far removed from the typical tourist routes. Its pyramid-like structure is quite different from what you'll find elsewhere, and the quieter atmosphere gives the whole experience a more mysterious feel.

Koh Ker to Preah Vihear
Today the trails get tougher as you ride deeper into Cambodia's remote territory toward Preah Vihear. This temple sits high on a cliff edge, and once you get there, you can see panoramic views stretching out over the plains. The temple complex itself is set dramatically on the landscape, and it's definitely one of the trip's highlights.

- Day 3
Preah Vihear to Tbeng Meanchey
You'll ride south through forests and farmland heading toward Tbeng Meanchey, which serves as the provincial capital. The off-road trails here are challenging, and you'll pass through small villages that offer a real sense of what rural Cambodia looks like. After settling into town for the night, you'll have time to walk around and connect with locals.

- Day 4
Tbeng Meanchey to Kampong Thom
The ride south takes you through agricultural land with rice paddies and palm trees, with Khmer villages scattered throughout. Sambor Prei Kuk comes up next—it's a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient brick temples sitting in the forest. These ruins rank among Cambodia's oldest, and the setting in the forest gives them a really atmospheric quality. You'll end the day in Kampong Thom.

Kampong Thom to Kampong Cham
Heading to Kampong Cham means riding through farmland and small villages on off-road trails with scenic countryside around you. The town sits along the Mekong River, and once you arrive, Wat Nokor is worth checking out. It combines ancient Angkorian ruins with a modern Buddhist pagoda in one complex. The town itself has a laid-back riverside vibe that's quite peaceful.

Kampong Cham to Kirirom National Park
Riding west toward Kirirom National Park, the terrain shifts from off-road trails to country roads, and things get more rugged as you climb toward the mountains. Kirirom National Park to Koh Kong
Today's ride through the Cardamom Mountains toward Koh Kong is some of the most challenging terrain on the trip. You'll navigate jungle paths, river crossings, and mountain scenery that really rewards the effort. Koh Kong is a coastal town near the Thai border, and you'll have time to relax by the beaches and check out nearby waterfalls.
