Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Siem Reap to Koh Ker

Starting from Siem Reap, you'll head out on dirt roads that cut through rural farmland and small villages on your way to Koh Ker. The temple complex sits hidden in the jungle and feels far removed from the typical tourist routes. Its pyramid-like structure is quite different from what you'll find elsewhere, and the quieter atmosphere gives the whole experience a more mysterious feel.

  2. Day 2

    Koh Ker to Preah Vihear

Today the trails get tougher as you ride deeper into Cambodia's remote territory toward Preah Vihear. This temple sits high on a cliff edge, and once you get there, you can see panoramic views stretching out over the plains. The temple complex itself is set dramatically on the landscape, and it's definitely one of the trip's highlights.

  3. Day 3

    Preah Vihear to Tbeng Meanchey

You'll ride south through forests and farmland heading toward Tbeng Meanchey, which serves as the provincial capital. The off-road trails here are challenging, and you'll pass through small villages that offer a real sense of what rural Cambodia looks like. After settling into town for the night, you'll have time to walk around and connect with locals.

  4. Day 4

    Tbeng Meanchey to Kampong Thom

The ride south takes you through agricultural land with rice paddies and palm trees, with Khmer villages scattered throughout. Sambor Prei Kuk comes up next—it's a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient brick temples sitting in the forest. These ruins rank among Cambodia's oldest, and the setting in the forest gives them a really atmospheric quality. You'll end the day in Kampong Thom.

The town sits along the Mekong River, and once you arrive, Wat Nokor is worth checking out. It combines ancient Angkorian ruins with a modern Buddhist pagoda in one complex. The town itself has a laid-back riverside vibe that's quite peaceful.

The park has waterfalls and fresh mountain air with cool pine forests to explore. You'll spend the night at an eco-lodge or campsite within the park.

  • Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Offroad Motorbike tour to Koh Ker, Preah Vihear, Kirirom National Park reviewer 1
    · October 3rd, 2025
We had an amazing experience on the 8-Day Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Offroad Motorbike Tour! From start to finish, everything was well organized. Mr. Minh, our sales consultant, was very responsive and helpful with all the planning, making the booking process stress-free. On the road, our guide Visoth was outstanding—knowledgeable, patient, and always making sure we were safe while still having fun. Riding through Koh Ker, Preah Vihear, and Kirirom National Park was unforgettable, with a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and stunning scenery. Highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking a true off-road adventure in Cambodia!
