Itinerary
- Day 1
Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham
Start early from Phnom Penh and head out on your motorbike for the ride north through Cambodia's countryside. You'll follow dirt tracks that wind past rural villages, water buffalo grazing in fields, and rubber plantations stretching out on both sides. Along the way, stop at Wat Nokor temple to walk through and see how its architecture blends modern elements with older Angkorian styles. From there, continue riding to Kampong Cham, a town situated right on the Mekong River. By evening you'll settle in for the night with views of the river, and you can relax after spending the day on rougher terrain.

Landmarks/POIs Wat Nokor Mekong River - Day 2
Kampong Cham to Kampong Thom
Head out from Kampong Cham toward Kampong Thom, this time taking dirt roads and jungle tracks through the countryside. You'll pass rubber plantations, rice paddies, and small rural hamlets where life moves at a slower pace. Later in the day, stop at Sambor Prei Kuk, a temple complex from the 7th century that's protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site and surrounded by lush forest. After exploring the grounds, continue to Kampong Thom where you'll stay the night. If you're interested, there's an option to have a traditional Khmer dinner before turning in.

Kampong Thom to Beng Mealea
This leg takes you deeper into rural Cambodia on exciting off-road trails heading toward Beng Mealea temple. You'll navigate through isolated villages and thick forests, the kind of challenging terrain that keeps the riding interesting. When you reach Beng Mealea, spend time exploring the sprawling temple complex that's been reclaimed by the jungle, with trees and vines wrapped around ancient stone structures everywhere you look. It has that feel of discovering something lost and hidden away. Overnight accommodation is close to the temple, so you'll fall asleep surrounded by the quiet of the Cambodian jungle with just the sounds of nature around you.

- Day 4
Beng Mealea to Siem Reap
Ride your final stretch toward Siem Reap on forest paths and through rice paddies and remote villages, taking in the countryside and how people live in these areas. You'll hit Siem Reap by afternoon, which is where Angkor Wat and the larger temple complex are located. Once you arrive, take time to unwind and sit with everything you've seen and done over these days riding through Cambodia's rural regions and visiting its historical sites.
