Itinerary
- Day 1
Kilimanjaro to Arusha
You'll land at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your representative meets you for the drive to Arusha. The city sits between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, and it's the main hub for safari operations across Tanzania. The drive gives you a chance to settle in and get oriented before your activities start.

Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, your guide drives west to Lake Manyara National Park. You'll have good chances to see baboons, lions that climb trees (a local specialty here), and large flocks of pink flamingoes on the water. There's a packed lunch at a picnic site, then more game viewing before heading back to your lodge for dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater
An early start gets you to Ngorongoro Crater, a volcanic basin with dense wildlife. The drive down into the crater itself is quite an experience. Inside you'll find wildebeest, zebra, and black rhinos among other species. After lunch you continue game driving, then return to your lodge in the evening.

- Day 4
Serengeti National Park
You depart early for the Serengeti, heading out across nearly 15,000 square kilometers of open plains. This is where the Great Migration happens, with millions of wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras moving across the landscape. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards are all present, though seeing them depends on timing and luck.

Serengeti to Karatu
Your second day in the Serengeti continues with game driving to see the concentration of plains animals. The migration involves over a million wildebeest and significant zebra populations. In the late afternoon you drive back through the Ngorongoro conservation area toward Karatu, watching for wildlife during the transition.

- Day 6
Tarangire National Park to Arusha
You head to Tarangire National Park, known for the Tarangire River that becomes the only reliable water source for animals during dry season. Tanzania's largest elephant population lives here, and you'll have good opportunities to see them along with giraffes, lions, and a huge variety of birds (over 500 species total). After lunch you drive back to Arusha.
