Itinerary
- Day 1
Phnom Penh to Kampong Chhnang
You'll head west from Phnom Penh to Kampong Chhnang on a mix of dirt tracks and rural roads that cut through rice paddies and small villages. Once you arrive, you're checking out the floating villages along the Tonle Sap River where people actually live and work on the water. After that, you'll see the traditional Khmer pottery villages and then settle in at a local guesthouse for the night.

Landmarks Tonle Sap River - Day 2
Kampong Chhnang to Battambang
From here you're riding west to Battambang on off-road trails through rural countryside, passing farmlands and jungle areas. The city itself has colonial character and an active art scene. You'll get on the famous bamboo train for a thrilling motorized bamboo platform ride through the countryside. If you want to add something extra, there's Phnom Sampeau hill with caves and views. Your overnight is at a riverside guesthouse.

Battambang to Pailin
This leg takes you south to Pailin through mountainous off-road terrain with scenic dirt trails and winding forest roads. It's a gem-mining town near the Thai border with genuine small-town feel. You'll visit local markets, learn about the gem-mining history, and check out nearby waterfalls before staying overnight in a guesthouse.

- Day 4
Pailin to Koh Kong
You're heading further south to Koh Kong on some of Cambodia's nicest roads, passing through the Cardamom Mountains with forested trails and river crossings. After arriving, you'll see Tatai Waterfall and explore the mangrove forests. There's an option to take a boat through the mangroves if you want to look for wildlife. You're staying at a riverside guesthouse near the Gulf of Thailand.

Landmarks Tatai Waterfall Cardamom Mountains - Day 5
Koh Kong to Sihanoukville
The ride to Sihanoukville follows coastal roads with off-road dirt trails and coastal highways mixed in, and you'll get ocean views as you approach the beach. Once there, you can relax on white sandy beaches or head out to nearby islands. Later in the day, grab fresh seafood and spend time at beachfront bars. You're staying overnight in a guesthouse by the sea.

Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh
You're riding back to Phnom Penh on a scenic route through Cambodia's heartland using rural roads and paved highways. You'll pass through small villages, rice paddies, and rivers, stopping at local markets and pagodas to see traditional Cambodian culture. You arrive back in Phnom Penh in the late afternoon, wrapping up your 6-day motorcycle trip.
