Madrid
You'll arrive in Madrid and check into your hotel, then have the afternoon free to explore the capital on your own using the CosmosGO app. This evening there's a welcome meeting where you'll get to know your Tour Director and fellow travelers.

Madrid
A Local Guide takes you on an orientation tour through Madrid, pointing out the city's key spots and sharing local insights you won't find in guidebooks.

Valdepeñas to Córdoba
You'll head to the Valdepeñas wine region for a town walk that includes Plaza de España Square and the Asunción Parish Church, then stop at the local wine museum to learn about the region's winemaking heritage. After that, it's a drive south to Córdoba where you'll stay for the next three nights.

Córdoba
In Córdoba, a Local Guide walks you through the UNESCO World Heritage old town with its narrow streets, flower-filled patios, and lively squares. You'll see the Mezquita, an incredible example of Muslim architecture, and the cathedral that was built inside after 1523, complete with its ornate altarpieces and mahogany choir stalls.

Córdoba
You have the day to yourself in Córdoba, or you can join an optional trip to Seville with a Local Guide. If you go, you'll see the Giralda Tower, the cathedral, and the Real Alcázar, plus the sprawling Plaza de España with its 52 mosaic-tiled benches. The guide will also walk through Triana, the neighborhood that birthed flamenco.

Córdoba to Mijas
The coach takes you to Málaga on the Costa del Sol, where a Local Guide shows you around the historic center and talks about its connection to Pablo Picasso. From there, you'll head to Mijas, a hillside town perched above the Mediterranean.

Mijas to Tangier
You'll travel by coach to the coast, then take a ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco. The crossing is just a few miles of water, but it marks the boundary between Europe and Africa.

Tangier
In Tangier, you'll wander through the white-washed streets that once drew artists like Delacroix and Matisse. The medina sits beneath the Kasbah's high walls, which dominate the old town. You can explore at your own pace or sign up for an optional trip to the blue city of Chefchaouen.

Tangier to Casablanca
Leaving Tangier, you'll stop in Rabat, Morocco's capital and one of the imperial cities, to walk around and see its historic and artistic treasures. Later you arrive in Casablanca for a sightseeing tour with a Local Guide, highlighting the impressive Hassan II Mosque.
