Madrid to Bordeaux
After breakfast, you'll travel through Castile and the Basque Country heading toward San Sebastián. Once there, spend time walking along La Concha beach and trying some wine in the old quarter. Later in the day, continue on to Bordeaux, arriving in the evening with a chance to walk through the city center and get your bearings.

Stop in Avignon to see the Palais des Papes, then continue to Lyon where you'll walk through the old town and take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica.
